Chapter 1. new people

I woke up early in the morning. The birds singing peacefully, i opend my eyes trying to wake up. Debating if i should get up before everyone else or if i should go back to bed and wake up later.

I decided to get up and wash up at the river. Whit my pajamas still on climbed down the ladder next to my hut.

It takes a few minutes to get to the river but eventually I got there.

I washed my face, hands and arms and soaked my feet while I looked around. I heard some noises in the distance. I thought I would be the best idea to leave and get ready for the day

I get back to the hide out and get dressed. Bringing my bow and bag of arrows to the dining table whit me just in case. I sit down and eat the lychee nuts I collected yesterday

"Look who is up early"

I look behind me and see Jett

"Goodmoring to you too. Ye I wanted to spend the morning alone"

"Are you ready for today? Remember we're ambushing those firebenders near the hideout"

"Ye I don't know if I'm gonna help."

"Whaaat why not? I need u there Y/N. Were not gonna win if I decide to stay here!"

Ugh I hate ot when Jett acts like this

"If u promise not to go all crazy fine. We will scare them off. Take thier weapons, maybe some supplies and we leave."

"Ye ye I promisssee Y/N, when did I ever break a promise"

I could name a few..

"Alright get ur stuff and I'll wake the others. I'm telling u Y/N today we will strike victory again!!"

Well don't jinx it stupid

Jett walks away and climbs up to the huts of everyone. I stand up a few minutes later and walk the same direction as him. I walk towards my place but I over hear him saying something

"Are u sure Jett? What about the people in the village?"

"Sometimes u need to make sacrifices to get closer to victory smellerbee. U should understand that!"

"WHO are we sacrificing?! What's going on?"

"Y/N I didnt know u were here!!"

Very smooth Jett

"What are u talking about?! Tell me right now Jett"

"Don't worry about it Y/N, trust me I nothing"

"I don't know if I can trust u"

I walk away feeling angry
-what is he talking about? Why is he keeping so much information away from me? I swear I need to know and stop him-

I think about going whit the freedom fighters. I decide to go just to see what we find there.
So if that stuff goes missing later I know that there is something going on.

I few hours of training whit longshot pass and Jett walks up to us.

"Alrightt are we ready for the big ambush?"

"I think so? Do u have a plan yet?"

"Yes, their camp isn't far from here so we just climb through the trees north.  We get in position, when I give the signal I need you Y/N to get their leader first. Then I get down and make the second move. After that we all get down and scare them off"

I look questioning at him trying to figure out if he is planning smth else.

"Alright I can be ready anytime. Just come and get me when we need to leave."
