Playful love

First day

"Sujin! Get your ass up, is time for school" I wake up at the sound of yelling on the other side of the door, alongside some banging on the door. "Damit," I said to myself as I checked the time on my phone. Exactly 7 a.m. Soon again banging on the door was heard once again. "Yah! Sujin! Get up come on! I have been here for ten minutes." I rolled my eyes as I stood up, walked to the door, and opened them. "I am awake jeez, no need to yell like that" "Well it was about time, now come downstairs, mom is making breakfast," he said as he walked away without saying anything else.

I went back to my room to take a quick shower and change into my uniform. The house overflows with the smell of pancakes as I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. "Good morning mom, where is Taejon?" I curiously asked my mom as she continued to make pancakes. "Good morning honey" she smiled "Taejon? Well, he already left for school, he said he didn't want to be late for the first day of school."

"What do you mean he already left there is still time" I said as I took a glance at the watch that was hanging on the wall. My eyes widen. "Crap" I was going to be late for school, this day can't be any better. I grabbed my backpack from the floor and gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek. "Bye!" I yelled as I exited the house.

"How can you be so stupid Sujin," I said frustratedly. I ran through the hallways of the school hoping that Mr. Kim wasn't in the classroom yet.

"Finally!" I said as I opened the door only to be welcomed with all eyes on me, I looked at the front of the class and instantly recognized those two figures. I smiled slightly and waved towards them as they just shook their head in disproval, and Sunoo even had the audacity to eye-role me.

My eyes wandered around the classroom trying to find my seat, along the way I saw some new and familiar faces. As I found my seat, along the way my legs gave up on me once I took the seat beside Heeseung and Yuqi, Heeseung was napping without any care in the world while Yuqi and I talked for a bit.

Once again, I looked around the classroom Ni-ki and Jake were sitting behind us, and the guy named Sunghoon was sitting on my right side. And beside him was a guy I don't know the name to, but he had cat-like features. 'He is cute' I thought to myself.

So far this is great, almost all my friends were here, further at the front of the classroom I spotted Seoyeon, and Soomin, I waved to them and smiled, and they did it back.

"Alright kids, attention please," Mr. Kim said as he walked into the classroom, which caused Jay and Sunoo to get back to their seats which were right in front of us. One by one we stood up from our seats and waited for Mr. Kim to give us the cue to sit down, but one person, in particular, did not stand up, one and only Lee Heeseung.

"Heeseung wake up" I poked him with the pencil. "Heeseung" I repeated my actions only this time harder. "Jeez, are you rock or something" I said to myself as he still didn't show any signs of life. I was about to poke him again until his hand came towards Heeseung's neck, it was Riki's hand, and he slapped Heeseung. With that, Heeseung jerked up from his seat and turned around "You little bast-" Before he finished, he was cut off by Mr. Kim "Well good morning Heeseung, I hope you slept well."

"Ah, yes Mr. Kim sorry" Heeseung bowed down a bit. I turned around to Riki and mouthed thanks, he just smiled and nodded. There it goes my heart acting up, even after all this time I still like him, I mean I can't help it, just look at him! He looks like so cute. My thoughts were cut out as Mr. Kim handed out papers.

The whole class groaned at the sight of papers. "Now, calm down class, it is not what you think," said Mr. Kim assuring everyone, "these papers on your desks are our future plans for this school year, I am sure you all know this is your last year here, and we want to make sure you leave with wonderful memories" everyone cheered at the news "but! That does not mean that you don't have important exams" he laughs.
