"HEY!" ABBY YELLED, shoving one of the boys off of Finney. "Don't fucking touch him!"

The boy, a ginger who was known to love bullying Finney for no apparent reason, just glared at the girl and threw a punch at her. She grabbed his wrist and used her body to shove him away. The other boy was still attacking Finney, and the third boy sat against the fence beside Gwen, both bleeding.

Abby found herself on the floor as the boy had tackled her, she used her foot to push him away before kicking him in the balls. He let out a squeak of pain, holding the area as he fell to his knees. The one boy left standing quickly realised he was out numbered and grabbed the ginger boy before running away.

Abby got to her feet and helped Finney up, she had spotted the three boys chasing him on her walk to school. James finally caught up, having been a lot slower than his sister at getting there. He panted softly as he looked at the four kids, the one bleeding from his head, the girl bleeding from her mouth, the other boy bleeding from his nose and his sister who only had some mud on the back of her shirt.

"Why do I keep missing all the fights." He spoke, still out of breath. "You guys get to school, I'll take this kid to the ER."

Abby watched her brother help the bully to his feet, making sure he had a good hold on the light headed boy, before slowly walking in the direction of the hospital. Finney turned to Abby after helping his sister up.

"Thanks." He paused when he saw the huge bruise on her face, it was fresh and looked like it had replaced the last one as soon as it had healed. "You okay?"

She just shrugged, her father was still annoyed she had spoken to the police about Robin's abduction. But it had been weeks since the police had last spoken to her, so she had hoped that her father's relentless abuse would have at least eased up a bit.

"Same old." She simply said, grabbing her back pack from the ground.

The day at school seemed to drag, but when it finally ended, Abby waited against the wall for her brother, like usual. However, the hour went by and there was no sign of her brother. James never ran this late behind. Finney had already left with his sister and she had no one else to walk home with. Another hour passed, the school was now deserted and Abby was becoming more anxious.

After the third hour came and went, and it was now getting dark, Abby realised her only option was to walk home. So, she grabbed a rock for protection and began her walk. She walked faster than usual, not wanting to be out alone. She would tense as cars drove by, her mind playing tricks on her and making her panic for a moment before showing her that it wasn't a black van.

She relaxed a little as she turned down her street, but then she paused as she saw the black van at the end of the road, waiting for her. As soon as she made eye contact with the man in the drivers seat, the vehicle started with a roar and came barrelling towards her. Abby turned on her heel and began to run back on herself.

The van got closer and closer until it hit her, she let out a yell of pain from the impact and fell to the ground. The Grabber jumped out of the van and pounced on her, covering her mouth and pressing a knife to her neck. Abby wondered why no one had seen this happening, but the van and some trees were blocking them from view and it was even darker than it had been when she left the school.

"Scream and I slice that pretty little neck of yours." His voice reminded her of her father, but there was something much worse about this one.

The fear in her eyes seemed to confirm that she wouldn't scream, so The Grabber removed the knife and grabbed something from his pocket. He took his sweaty hand from her mouth, and knowing that the girl would in fact scream for help, sprayed something into her mouth before a sound could get out.

James ran down the street, his mind and heart racing. He had been caught up with some stupid girl and had forgotten to pick his sister up from school, now she was no where to be seen. "Abby!"

He panted heavily as he turned down his own street, there his eyes landed on a familiar dirty pink backpack on the ground beside a tree. Next to it were a handful of black balloons, his heart dropped as he stared at the scene. He remembered Abby telling him how there were black balloon's at Robins abduction, and now here they were beside her backpack.

He stumbled over his feet as he ran to the house, he burst through the door, ignoring his fathers yells to be quiet. He grabbed the phone and quickly dialled the police. Robert and Grace stared at him in confusion, had he finally had enough with his father? Was he planning on telling them about the abuse his father would dish out to them all?

"I-I need to speak with Detective Wright." He stuttered out, his hands shaky. "Now, please."

Grace fell back into her chair as she heard the words leave her son's mouth, her hand placed shakily on her chest as she tried to get her emotions together before they all burst out. Robert, for once, was pretty shocked and even a little...worried?

"It's Abby!" James shouted down the phone, tears in his eyes. "She's gone!"
