Phayu had gotten Rain out of the bath and moved them onto the bed. He could not get enough of kissing this boy. His lips were so soft and smooth, even being new to intimacy, he was responding so perfectly to Phayu’s advances, just as he had before. This time was different though, it felt stronger than before, Phayu felt like he was dialed up to a ten.
His boy was squirming slightly underneath him, trying to figure out what to do about the foreign feelings that were being stirred up inside him.
“Phi, I didn’t come here for this, I just wanted to tell you about the professors praising me.”
“Do you want me to stop? I will if you want me to.
"You had said you wanted to show people you could stand by my side. Rain, you never had anything to prove to anyone. You have always been more than worthy to be by the side of whoever you wanted, whether that is me or someone else. Never feel obligated to show others what should be obvious.
“You are stunning, and smart, and cunning,” Phayu was peppering a small kiss on Rain after every adjective, “and kind. You are everything that anyone could want in a partner, Rain.”
Rain couldn’t form a coherent thought, well, he could but he didn’t really want to. He would never have imagined that receiving compliments could cause that same tight feeling in his gut that he got sometimes when he read the books that Sky had turned backwards on the bookshelf, the ones his friend thought Rain hadn’t noticed.
Everytime P'Phayu praised him again he felt like a bolt of electricity was shooting through his groin. He could stifle a few soft moans as the words and the feel of his hands wandering on Rain's chest worked together to turn the heat up inside of him.
"Please don't stop." Rain said shyly.
"I can't bear it anymore." Phayu said, making sure Rain knew exactly how much he wanted him.

The next morning Rain woke up alone in the bed, feeling, emotionally, incredibly content but, physically, pretty terrible. He was sure he had a fever and his body ached all over. He looked at his phone and saw he had multiple missed calls from Sky.
"Ai'Sky, I'm sorry for not telling you I'd be out all night." He said, after calling his friend back and being sufficiently lectured for making him worry.
"You should be! If P'Pai hadn't called P'Phayu then we wouldn't have known where you were! Por dropped your car off here last night but you never came back!"
"I'm sorry, mom!" Rain said teasingly. "I'll be home soon, I need to stop and get fever medicine, I got myself sick."
"Of course you did. Don't worry about stopping for medicine, I have plenty here and fever patches. Get home safely, I'm heading out with P'Pai to do some shopping but call me if you need me, okay?"
"Ooh! Going out with P'Pai? Did the date go that well?" Rain couldn't help but tease his friend but he felt so ecstatic that Sky was willing to spend more time with Prapai. Rain had been seeing such a positive change in his friend and he wanted it to continue.
"Goodbye, Rain." Sky replied blandly before hanging up on him.
"What a mean friend." Rain mutters to himself while chuckling.
He went to go find P'Phayu to let him know he was leaving but when he finally tracked him down, he saw the older man was busy working out and Rain didn't want to interrupt him, he would just text him when he got home.
He managed to get a cab and got back to the dorm where he found Sky had left the medicine sitting on their table where he could easily find it.
He took his medicine and slapped a fever patch on his forehead. He knew he needed to text P'Phayu that he had headed home but was struggling to keep his eyes open. He had just begun to type out the text when he lost the fight and couldn't stay awake any longer.
