Rain came back to consciousness courtesy of a hard slap to his face. It wasn't ideal at all and he felt panic rising in his chest when he realized he didn't recognize his surroundings in the slightest. What he did recognize, though, was the arrogant asshole standing off to the side taking pictures and laughing like an absolute maniac.

"Oh good, our little friend is awake!" He said with glee upon noticing Rain looking around.

"Why did you take me? Don't you know that kidnapping is a big deal? You're going to regret this!" Rain was shouting, trying to mask his fear, because, make no mistake, he was terrified. He'd never been in a situation like this and all he could think about was how he hadn't gotten to talk to Sky today, how he had told P'Phayu to leave him alone, and how none of his friends would know what happened to him if he didn't make it out of this.

"I can't wait to send these to your little bitch mechanic." The man said, holding up his phone. "I think we should make it more fun though! Guys, make it more interesting."

Rain turned to see three men walk forward, all looking menacingly his way. When the first got to him, he immediately punched him across the face, splitting his lip. Another decided to take a shot to his stomach and successfully knocked the wind out of him, and the last hit him so hard across the cheek that Rain heard something crack and knew his cheek bone had to be broken.

They continued hitting him and Rain found that he was beginning to struggle to get a good breath. He didn't want to go out like this, in some nondescript warehouse, surrounded by crappy people. He was so tired of feeling weak and so tired of people underestimating him. He saw the men walk over to watch the video that Stop, he'd heard someone call the lead asshole, had taken and decided to try a trick he'd seen online to until the rope that was holding him to the chair.

Amazingly, it worked! With his arms free l, and a rush of adrenaline pumping through him, Rain rushed the men. He used all his body weight to knock one over, managed to trip up another just enough for him to fall and slipped around the remaining two and had almost reached the door when he felt someone grab onto his hair and yank him back hard.

He fell to the ground and his head hit hard. Rain was left dazed, in pain, and overwhelmingly tired after all the exerted effort.

"Damn! I wish I had gotten that whole thing on video but your boyfriend will have to be happy with the ending. He dp you think he'll like it? We'll send him the fun we've had so far and let him stew on it before I make him join us for some more!"

This man was insane! They had gagged Rain and restrained him to the chair again, so all he could do was muster his best glare and send it Stop's way.

He thought he would get a moment to rest but the goons spent the next hour making small, superficial, but painful cuts all over Rain's body. They had teasingly cut his shirt off and taunted him that they could do whatever they wanted to him in this instance.

Rain felt cold dread shoot down his spine. He didn't want to be physically hurt, of course, but he would take being beaten over the mental toll that he knew something like that could leave on a person.

They didn't end up touching him too much, except to comment on how toned the boy was and how well he hid it. They then took turns tormenting him. At first, he tried to hold in his moans and grunts of pain, but after a while he couldn't. It hurt too much and in too many places for him to control it.

He could hear the head dipshit on the phone somewhere but couldn't process what he was saying until he heard him come closer and talk to one of his subordinates.

"If he won't speak nicely then make him talk for me, we have to show his dear lover that he's alive."

Rain then felt them remove the gag and someone cut deep and harshly across his thigh.

"Agh! Phayu!" He couldn't help himself from calling out for the person he wanted most right now.

He heard Stop walk away, cackling again, and lost his ability to focus. He didn't know how long he'd been dazed but suddenly heard the beat voice in the world and thought he had to be hallucinating.

"Rain? Rain, please look at me! We're going to get you out of here." His stomach dropped.

He didn't want P'Phayu to be here! His dear man had just walked into an obvious trap and now neither of them was likely to make it out.

Rain felt tears start to stream down his face as he saw Stop taunt and abuse his boyfriend.

"Stop! Leave him alone! Don't touch P'Phayu!" Rain had managed to push the gag out and was trying to get the attention back on him, he was already hurt so some more wouldn't be too bad, but he didn't want to see Phayu kneeling and beaten. Phayu didn't deserve this at all!

He tried to wiggle out of the rope again to help Phayu but they all froze when they heard a gunshot. Rain jerked, terrified that Stop had somehow shot Phayu, but Phayu was looking the other direction now and Rain saw his shoulders relax, like he was relieved by the sound.

"That's enough!" Rain heard the voice of P'Chai! He didn't want to be excited to see a criminal but, man, was he ever excited to see the man!

Immediately Chai looked around and took stock of the situation. He nodded at a couple of his men who jumped into action. One headed to check Phayu, and the other came over to Rain. He felt immediate relief in his shoulders when they untied him. He quickly tried to stand up to get to Phayu, who was still laying on the floor but suddenly the man beside him was shoved harshly and one of Stop's underlings had a hold of Rain with a knife pressed hard against his neck.

"No!" Shouted Phayu.

"I'm not a fucking idiot! I know what my father is involved with and who you work for. You really think I'm just going to step back and let you walk out of here? No way.

"Here's how this is going to go: I am going to walk out of here with my friends and your little whore over there. Once we are an adequate distance away, I'll leave him with a phone and continue on my merry wa…" the sound of a gunshot rang out and Stop fell to the ground, a small hole in between his eyes.

The man holding Rain jerked suddenly, caught off guard by the death of his friend, and Rain felt a searing pain go across his neck.

"Rain! No, Rain!" Phayu screamed.

The world felt like it was moving in slow motion and Rain wasn't processing things how he normally would. He was sure, though, that he saw Sky and Prapai running to him, along with a couple other men. He knew he was falling but he was so detached that he didn't even register when he hit the ground.

"Rain! Rain! Please, you have to be okay! I can't lose my best friend!" Sky was shouting.

"Please move over and give me room!" Rain somewhat registered a female voice joining the noise and suddenly there was a hard pressure on his neck making him groan.

"He's going to be okay, he's lost a lot of blood though and we need to get him to a hospital." She was saying.

Rain felt himself checking out of the situation. The nice lady said he would be okay so that took away some of the fear of not seeing everyone again, and his body hurt too much to try to stay awake. He stopped fighting the gentle darkness and let himself pass out.
