Just as I set down my phone, I turned my laptop on and accepted the Zoom call. Inside was Dan Shotz, James Bobin, and the rest of the Percy Jackson crew. I looked around and saw none other than Rick Riordan himself, I wondered why he was on the call my email stated it would just be the crew so naturally I was nervous.
"Hello Selena," Rick said, he had a wide smile on his face. I smiled back and waved, which was silly to do but it was a habit of mine.
"Hi, Mr. Riordan," I said, I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. I had done this many times before but the process was still scary.
Either way, this meant so much to me because Percy Jackson was probably the only book that brought me and my siblings together as one, it made them so happy when I told them I would be auditioning for this role.
