Nervously you pulled strands of hair out of the top-knot you tied earlier, and gnawed on the pencil in your other hand. It was sunday night and the final week of exams began in less than twelve hours, a wave of regret and exhaustion washed over you. You let your head fall, lightly hitting the paper covered desk below and drifted into a light sleep.

You were snapped awake by the door to the study creaking open and the clink of mug being set down on the desk near you. Lifting your head, your eyes were met by the sympathetic grin of Tom. "You ok?" He pulls up a chair and sits beside you.

"As okay as I can be right now." You replied wrapping your hands around the warm mug. You blow across the surface of the tea before taking a sip. "Thank you." You sigh placing the tea down.

"Is there anything i can do to help?" Tom asked tidying the papers spread across your desk, briefly looking over the notes you had made.

"You can sit in the exam hall and do the papers for me." He laughs softly and pulls your head into his chest. You felt secure when you were with Tom, as if no matter kind of terrible things were happening in your life just a single smile from him would make all your worries melt away.

"Well we both know that i can't do that, so instead what i can offer you are some warm pajamas- straight out the dryer and a comfy bed to sleep in." You weakly try to protest against sleeping but tom continues, "I know you want to stay up and study but you've done enough. The worst thing to do right now is stress yourself out and show up tomorrow tired." Of course everything he was saying is true so you gave in.

"Okay then, I'll sleep." You sit up and finish tidying the desk placing all the notes into the correct folders.

"Take the rest of your tea and go to our bedroom and I'll get the pajamas for you." You rest your head against his shoulder.

"I love you." You whisper sleepily.

"I love you too," He replies kissing the top of your head gently. "And you're going to do great tomorrow, i know it."
