Hello everyone! This is a random announcement because it was quite the random decision.
Over the next who-knows-how-many months, I will be rewriting Rin is Not Sexy and renaming it The Break Up Plan!
A couple of years ago, I took the book down for a few different reasons. At 21 years old, it's understandable that I'd find flaws with books I wrote when I was 13 or 14. But unlike some of my other old works, Rin is Not Sexy was the least thought out.
Here's a fun behind the scenes for you: I only started this book because I wanted one of my favorite idols, Jimin from BTS to be cast as a "Top" love interest in a BL. Every piece of this plot was created solely from the source of: Jimin is now the face of a character, what will that character do?
But, I think having put so little thought into the book produced a lot of issues. I'm a feminist and perfectionist and the original version of this book definitely didn't reflect either of those traits. However, I think I'm now at a place where I have the emotional space and writing stamina to tackle this rewrite.
I'll post the chapters in order as soon as I finish them so it will be like I'm uploading the book all over again! (FUN!)
A lot of you guys were confused and upset when the book got taken down and I heard you and appreciated your honesty. I hope that this is a compromise that can work for everyone. I love writing and I love that projects that don't resonate with my current skill set still bring joy to you guys so my goal is to keep all of my books up hopefully forever.
So yeah, that's why this book is back on my page.
