Scott's P.O.V.
I sat up on the couch, momentarily confused. Why wasn't I in my bedroom? And why was I still in the same clothes I wore yesterday?

"Mitch?" I called, searching the living room for him. I heard no reply.

"Mitch!" I shouted, louder this time.

The beautiful boy poked his head out from behind his bedroom door.

"Morning sleeping beauty," he replied, laughing softly. He was so cute when he smiled like that.

"What the heck happened last night?"
He rolled his eyes.

"I have no idea how you did it, but you downed about fifteen drinks and were still able to tell the waitress behind the counter that the skirt she was wearing made her look fat, which also explains why you have a little bit of a bruise on your cheek."

Sure enough, when I reached up to my face, I could tell that I had a pretty decent bruise.

"Ow!" I exclaimed.

He giggled. "Scott, I swear, one of these days you're going to get tired of waking up in weird places with mysterious injuries."

I slowly lifted myself off of the couch. "Not likely. Fat chance that I'll give up alcohol. But you'll always be there to bring me home, right?"

"I'll always be here for you Scotty. Besides, alcohol is gross," he said giggling.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. "Whatever you say Mitch."

He walked over to the coffee table and grabbed the remote, turning on the T.V. and switching through the channels, finally finding Spongebob. I noticed that he was dressed nicely, as if he was going out somewhere.

"Where are you going this early?" I asked, surprised.

He looked at me incredulously. "Scott, it's 3 o'clock in the afternoon!"

I looked at the clock above the oven, discovering he was right.
"Wow, I can't believe I slept all day!"

"Yeah me neither. But you partied pretty hard last night. Anyways, I'm going out with Troye. We're going to hang out for a little while, then he's taking me to dinner at that new Italian place."

"Oh cool," I said, pretending not to care as much as I actually did. Troye was Mitch's boyfriend and had been for a few months now.

As much as I had feelings for Mitch, I couldn't get in the way of his happiness. It was so hard to keep it to myself sometimes.

"Bye Scotty!" Mitch shouted as he bounded out the door.

"Bye," I whispered, even though he had already left.
