A dilapidated jeep traveled along the highway that ran through the desert.

A man with a thin face held the steering wheel with one hand and watched the vehicle icon on the navigation draw closer to the coordinate point, fearfully pulling off his bandana and wiping off the dirt by wiping it haphazardly on his face twice.

His name was Lu Ting, a scientist who studied quantum physics.

He had been here a year ago for a scientific expedition and had detected very strong energy radiation here.

After that a series of changes happened in his life that brought him to his current state.

Those who had pursued him had been thrown off after entering the desert and had not pursued him further.

Thinking of the heart-stoppingly close encounter earlier, Lu Ting couldn't help but gulp, his heart palpitating.

He reached out with one sinewy hand and turned on the somewhat jangly car music to celebrate his survival from the gunfire.

What saved him, surprisingly enough, were the coordinates of the location that suddenly popped up on his navigation.

83.57773E, 40.08503N.

The icon on the navigation overlapped with the coordinate point.

Outside the car, an engraved boundary marker almost brushed against the body.

Lu Ting didn't bother to look at it because he knew what the coordinates meant.

This place was known as the Sea of Death, the forbidden zone of life.

At a glance through the car window, the world was wrapped in yellow sand.

He had a strong premonition that there must be something that was guiding him to this place again in the underworld.

The wind gradually decreased, and the vehicle stopped at the end of the highway.

The science station that was originally built here was actually gone, and in its place, was a motel.

Lu Ting rubbed his eyes and re-examined it, thinking that he had blurred his eyes.

Who would dare to tear down the research station and build an unprofitable motel in such a shithole?

However, the motel was standing right in front of him, not a mirage as he had imagined.

Strange? Did he really come to the wrong place?

Shocked, Lu Ting felt curious.

He stepped out of the car and pushed open the door that was covered with yellow sand.

One snore after another drifted to his ears.

Following the sound, in the large hotel, there was only a man in professional clothes lying on the front desk sleeping.

"Hello, may I ask if this store is ......"

Lu Ting walked over and gently knocked on the desktop.

The other party raised his head and glanced at him with sleepy eyes for a moment, then he casually fished out a guest room key from somewhere and threw it to him, then buried his head and went back to sleep.

Snoring, once again.

Lu Ting sighed in frustration and grabbed the key.

0136, this was the door number on the locket.

After running for his life for a day, he felt extremely tired, and despite being full of questions about the entire hotel, he was unable to do anything about it, so he had to follow the number plate and find that room, preparing to take a good rest.
