"Inspector, my name is Xia Nuo."

The female reporter, who had just introduced herself, quickly noticed Lu Ting's eyes and an impatient look appeared on her face, "Have you never seen a beautiful woman before? Or is there a clue written on my face?"

Probably a little tired of being stared at, Xia Nuo opened her mouth with pungent words.

This tone made Lu Ting realize that he had recognized the wrong person.

He couldn't help but smile to himself.

Back then, he had watched his wife being buried with his own eyes, so how could the woman freshly alive in front of him be her?

"You are the first eyewitness, I want to hear your description of the crime."

Lu Ting tried his best to say in a kind tone.

Xia Nuo, however, stood alongside him and inquired in a low voice, "Can I take a few more photos of the scene?"

Lu Ting looked down at the camera she was holding in her hand and smiled, "You were the first person to arrive at the scene, you had enough time after calling the police. If it's not unexpected, in this camera of yours, you should have already stored many negatives of the scene photos, right?"

"I'm in journalism, of course the more information the better."

Xano raised an eyebrow.

"Huh."

Lu Ting snatched the camera and pulled out the film inside.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Shano was displeased.

"Until the case is solved, any information about the case must not be leaked." Lu Ting had watched many detective movies and TV dramas, and vaguely remembered that there seemed to be such a rule.

"You ......," Xia Nuo was somewhat speechless.

Lu Ting returned the camera to her and pointed to the seat on the side, "Now, let's talk about what you saw."

Xia Nuo sat down with extreme reluctance and slowly opened her mouth:

"My family lives in the neighborhood, and when I passed by this morning on my way to work, I noticed that the tavern, which had been closed for many years, had suddenly opened its doors, so I curiously stood in front of the door and looked around. I didn't see the owner at the time, but I could vaguely hear knocking and cries for help coming from inside the tavern. I followed the sounds and found someone trapped in the wine storage room."

"How did you open the door to the room?"

Lupin twirled the Parker pen in his hand, the transcript in front of him blank.

"The key was left in the lockhole. I thought it was a prank at the time, but when the door opened, out ran two men covered in blood and a body in the room! I was so shocked that I turned and rushed out into the street, and luckily I met the detectives changing shifts at the beat house."

"Wait!"

Lu Ting stopped his hand movement, "You know the owner of this store well?"

"Old neighbors."

"Oh? Then do you know where he went?"

"Two years ago, he went back to his hometown to visit his family and never came back. It's said that he died in his hometown from an infectious disease, and this tavern was abandoned and shut down until now."

"So that's how it is."

Only then did Lu Ting slowly pull off the cap of his pen and draw two random strokes on the paper.
