It was 5 Am and the sun was rising already. K looked at the sunrise from his balcony with so many thoughts in his head. He hadn't slept the night before more like couldn't sleep. But it was nothing new. After turning 18 and getting his wolf ,he could count how many nights he fell asleep on his finger. In daytime, he was too busy doing his job as the pack leader to think about anything else, but at night when he was left alone he couldn't stop blaming the moon goddess for his cruel fate.

Knock knock ~

A knock woke him up from his deep thoughts.

"Come in." He said in a emotionless voice. He honestly was really tired but he couldn't rest at all.

Soon a teenage boy was seen walking into the room holding a cup of coffee.

"Alpha, Luna sent this cup of coffee for you." The cause of all of k's problem said with a timid voice.

K stared at sunghoon wondering how the person suppose to give him comfort, was making his life harder.

K said in a cold voice," put it on the table and Get out of here."

Sunghoon slowly nodded and put the coffee on the table and went away. It was evident the younger was scared of K which frustrated K even more.

K punched the wall in frustration and Sunghoon who was outside his room flinched before quickly going downstairs. He didn't want to know how the punch would feel.

K went to take a shower to get ready for yet another busy day .
On the other hand, Sunghoon went to the kitchen where a beautiful middle age woman was seen sipping on her coffee.

Sunghoon went Infront of her and bowed before saying," Luna, I gave the Coffee to Alpha."

The middle age woman Miri smiled and said," Thank you sunghoon-ah. Did he say something rude to you?" Miri was well aware how much her son hated Sunghoon though she never supported this behavior K never listened.

Sunghoon shook his head and said," No no Luna. He didn't say anything.. I will prepare breakfast then."

"Tell me right away if he does something ok? " Miri said with worried eyes. The boy had been basically raised by her and she loved him as her son. Seeing her
Own behaving rudely to him made her really sad.

Sunghoon nodded and went to prepare breakfast. Sunghoon was an orphan who was bought to this pack by K's father, the former pack leader. He was only 1 year old when he came to this pack and K was 10 years old.

K fell in love with the little baby at first sight and protected him as his brother. The two were inseparable growing up.

However, on the night before K's 18th birthday Sunghoon started whining about going to the woods for a run. So, they snuck out of their pack house to go for a run in the woods. They had so much fun and lastly when the clock hit 12. K's mood suddenly became dull . He quickly went back to the pack house only to find their pack was attacked and His father was killed.

Ever since then K has been rude to Sunghoon and Sunghoon also blamed himself for the incident.

Suddenly sunghoon hissed causing K who was just coming downstairs to go the kitchen immediately. Miri also went behind K only to find sunghoon has burnt his hand.

Miri gasped ," Are you ok Sunghoon?? How did you burn yourself?"

Sunghoon looked down at his hand and was about to say something but K beat him to it," You have just one job but you still can't do it? Are you stupid? "
