So, my Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon fans 🐉, I'm going to ask you to read this again before I start.
I myself have never written stories before, but I love and live for the whole "A Song of Ice and Fire" universe and started writing short stories during my studies. So bear with me if some sentences or phrases seem a bit strange and also, English is not my first language, so I might make a few mistakes there too.
And something that is very important to me personally:
I've only ever read fanfictions in which the main protagonist falls in love within the first few chapters, and for me personally, the tension was usually already gone by then. I intend it to be an evolving process, more of an Enemies to Lovers story, where suspense is of course a must! Of course, the focus is mainly on the relationship between Siveen and Daemon, but Siveen is neither from the Targaryen family, nor a little girl in love who falls in love with him as soon as she sees him.
But now less about me and more about the story:
The timing of the story begins after Alicent Hightower had already given birth to Aegon Targaryen and begins right when Daemon Targaryen had won the battle against Craghas Drahar and the Triarchy.
I would like to point out that if any years or events are mentioned that don't fit the book or the show, it's completely intentional and not a mistake. I will mostly stick to the events from the series, but I plan to write my own story about them. Roughly speaking, this means that some characters may be replaced or not appear at all or even taken from Game of Thrones because they fit better into my story, dates may not match exactly, characters may behave slightly differently and so on, but I think you get the idea :)
Furthermore, I use High Valyrian from time to time, which I translated myself with the help of the site: https://translator-valyrian.netlify.app/, but there can also be wrong information there.
