Galactic Factions, Notable Planets and Orders:

The United Galactic Government: the reigning government that maintains control over all the systems. You're either allied with them or neutral with them. A small civil war broke out between several systems and the UGG before being resolved by the end of the Clone Wars. The UGG is compromised of hundreds of settled planets and thousands of different species comprising the citizens of the Galaxy. The UGG has been the standing government for more than 60,000 years.

The Galactic Guardian Group/GGG: basically a combination of the Nova Corps, Green Lantern Corps and Plumbers, being the primary police force throughout the galaxy working for the United Galactic Government and recruiting officers from every corner of the galaxy. The highest level you can get as a GGG agent is a Spectre, basically the commandos of the GGG.

The Incursion Empire was once a planet conquering force until a peace treaty was brokered with them. Next in line as Emperor, or in this case, Empress, is Princess Attea.

The Hutt Clan: also known as the Hutt Families, and the Hutt Cartel or just the Hutt clans, are a Hutt crime family that made its riches through smuggling and myriad illegal businesses on worlds across a region of space homonymous with the species name. The Hutt Clan was led by individuals on the Grand Hutt Council, the ruling body of Nal Hutta.

The Hutt Clan was an ancient and powerful criminal cartel active in the galaxy, particularly in the Outer Rim Territories and an entire territory directly under the control of the Hutt species known as Hutt Space. Despite its singular name of the "Hutt Clan" or "Hutt Cartel," however, the syndicate was composed of many different, individual Hutt families identified as Kajidic clans. To maintain their power and wealth, the Hutts used fear, intimidated their subjects, and had their hands in a number of illegal businesses. Slavery and piracy in specific were major sources of their wealth. Other enterprises included bounty hunting, smuggling, and the spice trade. The Hutts would also use their power to control entire hyperspace routes to control the smuggling of legal and illegal goods alike.

Like the Car'das smugglers, the Hutt Clan purchased large numbers of the M3-A Scyk interceptors produced by MandalMotors because of their customizability and low cost. The cartel also made use of Gozanti Armed Transports and HH-87 Starhopper, which would become known as "Hutt starfighters" due to their service in the Hutts' criminal enterprise. The Hutts took advantage of conflict and the rebuilding efforts in the wake of those battles. Hutt transmissions also made use of Rigariam, a dead language. Certain Hutt-controlled planets, such as Mataou, were identified as "jewel worlds." Jabba's criminal empire also mined and sold rhydonium to spacers, with mining platforms on Saracor, Tralgaria, and Abafar unearthing the fuel. Most of the rhydonium used by the Hutt Clan came from Saracor.
