Today was the day Yujin was going to ask Aria if he could be her boyfriend. To say he was nervous would be an understatement the past couple of days him and his friends were planning on how he was gonna ask her
Was it gonna be a cute restaurant date?
A walk at the beach with a cute set-up?
For the first time ever his stress wasn't caused by school-work, until while he was in his AP physics class it hit him that he didn't need to make this a huge fancy expensive thing
He had the perfect idea and he knew (and hoped) she'd love it
It was the last friday before break and the day Yujin was taking Aria out on their first unofficial date. All day his mind was on Aria and not on his work which almost costed him after school detention but he quickly got out of it from solving one of the problems and thankfully being able to leave school
"Boo" Aria quietly crept behind the taller boy scaring him, "Gunwoo- oh Aria" his expression immediately softened at the sight of her
"So where are you taking me?" the two teens walked together down the hallway out to the entrance of the school
"It's a surprise Aria" he whined dragging out the last part his hands strapped to his backpacks, the girl has been bugging him about this date ever since he told her
"Boooo" the girl playfully rolled her eyes as she bid the boy goodbye skipping over to her two friends
"What were you and lover boy talking about?" Eunchae teased the girl giggling
"Nothing just that he's taking me somewhere later tonight and he won't tell me"
"Oh my gosh what!" Hanni exclaimed stopping the two with her mouth hung open
"What? It's probably nothing special" Aria sheepishly smiled her head hung low as she continued walking with the two girls slowly following behind
"Special my butt! He's probably gonna ask you out or something" Hanni giggled imagining the scenario "What are you gonna wear? How are you gonna do your hair? Updo or down? Or oh my gosh curled?" the younger one excitedly questioned
"Slow down Chae" the three girls bursted out into a fit of laughter "I'll send you two pics" she replied before bidding goodbyes and going the opposite ways
Aria made her way to the bus stop plugging in her airpods as she mindlessly scrolled through her pinterest, her playlist flowing through her ears before the bus pulled up
As the girl got on she digged through her pockets trying to find the money she had for the bus only to find out that it was gone, she panicked not knowing what to do or how she was now gonna get home
"Oh sorry sir but I seem not have my money on me— it was right here" she politely bowed at the aggravated middle-aged man
"No money. Can't go on, sorry miss it's the policy"
"No please sir just this on-" before she could consist her sentence a familiar voice spoke up
"Don't worry sir i got her" Aria turned to see Ni-ki handing the bus man the money
"Oh my goodness Ni-ki thank you so much" she gave him a genuine sweet smile.the boy shook his head "No problem" The two teens walked to the back row of the bus and sat side by side
"Now that i did you a favor, did you do me one? With.." he trailed off "Eunchae! Yes i'm working on that don't worry about that" the girl playfully winked at the boy next to him
Ni-ki's cheeks flushed a pink color out of embarrassment as he gratefully nodded his head, "So I heard from someone Yujin's taking you out, i'm glad everything worked out between you two—and i'm so sorry for causing whatever happened"
" What Ni-ki you didn't do anything, it wasn't your fault it was just—a misunderstanding" the girl smiled at him before the bus stopped right outside her house
"This is my stop...thanks again Ni-ki bye!" she waved her hand at him before exiting the bus and walking into her quiet home since it was only three in the afternoon she was the only one home—and it was just the way she liked it
Aria opened the door to her bedroom before locking it and hoping into her shower hoping to take one before Yujin came to pick her up
After taking the long shower she wrapped herself in her towel before stepping back into her bedroom and onto her vanity where she started to do her makeup—in the middle of her routine she got a text from Yujin saying that he was already here
The girl jumped out her seat, "What!" her mouth hung open. How was he already here? Did her shower take that long? Panicking she rushed down the stairs to open the door for the boy
"Hey Ari- oh you're not ready yet? Did i come too early sorry..." the boy's cheeks flushed due to embarrassment
Aria chuckled before letting him in "No don't worry about it Yujin, im almost done give me 10 minutes to change" with that she ran up her stairs and into her bedroom

The girl stood in her closet overwhelmed with how much clothes she has, she was stuck she didn't know what to wear and her date being downstairs was not helping her anxiety
After she threw 10 outfits on the floor she finally picked out a short black long sleeve dress with a white scarf, tights paired with her mary janes
Aria made sure she was a 100 percent ready so she didn't have to make the boy downstairs wait any longer, after doing so she closed the door to her room and made her way downstairs
"Okay i'm ready"
It felt as if the world stopped for Yujin when he made eye contact with Aria, she looked stunning (when has she not) the girl noticed his flustered state and laughed
"Yujin.." she snapped him out of whatever trance he was in, "You look—beautiful" he shyly complimented the girl who giggled in response "Thank you Yujin, shall we get going?" the boy nodded leading the two to the destination where Yujin had been working on for so long.
