2 Weeks Later...

My head was finally clear and I found myself packing my bag, full of my washed clothes and of course, the book full of memories of me and Auntie. It was tough to say goodbye to my family, especially my sister, but I had to return home, England.

Mum and dad also packed, as their home was also in England.

As I packed my bag, Calista slowly strolled in, "Hey Dem, I'm gonna miss you. Keep messaging me, yeah?"

I stopped what I was doing to give my little sister a hug, "Of course I will, and I'm gonna miss you too. Promise me you'll keep me updated when I'm home. And study hard, you're smarter than you think you are." She nodded, her face reddening.

"Okay, well, I should get going now. I love you" I turned to her, patting her shoulder.

"I love you too Dem." Calista smiled, tears in her eyes.

Just as I got towards the door, she called my name, "Keep me updated on you and Sasha."

She winked, I just chuckled to myself. As I walked out the door, with mum and dad, I glanced one last time at the place I called home for the past few months. The familiar sights and sounds will forever be etched into my memory. I hopped into the taxi, feeling a mix of emotions. Part of me was excited to return to England, to my friends and family, but another part of me was already missing my new life here. I missed Auntie the most, but I knew she would've been my biggest supporter, telling me to follow my heart.

My mind wondered to the possibilities awaiting me. My first night back in England would be at Sasha's, she and her parents kindly let me stay the night. Part of me hoped for more than just a kiss with Sasha, maybe it was too early, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

My heart belonged to Sasha, now was time to follow it. The taxi pulled away from the familiar streets and I found myself gazing out the window, lost in thought. My parents also doing the same. I couldn't help but wonder what my life would be like now. Would Sasha and I be together? Would I ever be able to get over the past? So many questions swirled in my head, but one thing was certain: my love for Sasha had grown stronger.

The taxi man was kind enough to drop us off at the cemetery first, so we could say a little goodbye to Auntie. I had a 5 minute talk with her, promising to make Sasha happy.

All those late night calls, half the world away, I could feel the connection between us growing stronger with each passing moment. The taxi pulled up to the airport and I gathered my things, feeling a mixture of anticipation and nervousness. As I walked through the familiar terminal, I couldn't help but wonder if I'd ever see this place again. Maybe...

Many hours later, Sasha's POV...

I shot up out of bed to the sound of my alarm. Today I get to see Demi again after so many months. My parents were so right, Demi and I got much closer while she was away, we were so close to that relationship I craved. I threw on some clothes and headed downstairs, eagerly awaiting the moment I could see her at my door.

She'd be here any minute now!

Dad came over and patted my back, "You excited?"

I nodded, my heart racing. I couldn't believe she was finally here. A few more seconds ticked by, and then I heard a car pull up outside. My heart leapt into my throat as I dashed to the window, my hands shaking with anticipation. There she was. My Demi. The girl who had captured my heart so completely.

"She's here! She's here!"

I couldn't wait, I swung open the door and sprinted over to her, my heart pounding in my chest. The way her eyes lit up as she saw me, the way her face lit up with a beaming smile, it was like time stood still. She was here, she was really here.
