Wonyoung had just gotten home from her and Yujin's mini celebration to be greeted by her mother, who was preparing to go grocery shopping.

"Welcome home, honey, how was the first day of school?"

Wonyoung gave the woman her signature, gentle smile and responded with a simple 'it was great' before quickly dismissing herself to her room to change out of her uniform. She was about to enter her bedroom as her mother caught her attention.

"I'll be out getting groceries for dinner, your father isn't back from work yet so it will be just you, honey. Is that alright?" Wonyoung's mother was a sweetheart, and maybe even worried a little too much. The younger girl assured her mother that being left alone would be fine, since she only planned on getting dressed into more comfortable clothes and organizing her planner for school.

Finally entering the sanctuary that was her room, Wonyoung set her school bag down next to her desk, approaching her closet. Although her family wasn't rich, they were well off, so the girl had a decent-sized room along with a nicely-sized closet.

She changed into a comfortable nightgown, wiping off her makeup and untying the elastics which were holding her twin braids together. Wonyoung quickly ran her fingers through her hair to unbraid the strands, her smooth hair making the process easier.

After the brunette was finished changing and placed her uniform blazer back in its respective spot, throwing the rest in the laundry basket, she gazed over at her bag. Realizing she had forgotten to ask her mother to sign the club application form, Wonyoung slightly sighed, taking the paper out of her bag and hanging it on the kitchen fridge with a magnet so her mother could sign it when she returned.

Having nothing else to occupy her, Wonyoung decided to do some practice sketches in her small art studio her father specially made in the spare bedroom downstairs. Sure, the room was small, only fitting a shelf for all her supplies, along with a small desk, a canvas stand, and a love-seat couch on the far wall, but the young girl absolutely adored this space. It was one of her favourite places in her home, coming second to her bedroom of course.

The room was filled with Wonyoung's passion, her greatest masterpieces, and even her trials and errors. This small art studio, made of a run-down spare bedroom in the basement of her house, was the brunette's escape from the world. From all of the stress, overwhelming expectations of others, and everything else bad about today's society.

Wonyoung sat down at her desk, pulling out her sketchbook, and began jotting down ideas for her next project.

It was 7:49 am the next day and Wonyoung was walking with her best friend, Yujin, to school together.

"You're joining the art club, right Wonnie?" The two have known each other for years, they could read each other like open books. When the older received a nod, she chuckled and continued. "Good luck, ice prince is in the art club!"

Wonyoung gave Yujin a confused look. She had never heard of this 'ice prince' before, and so the brunette didn't know how to respond. Deciding to get to the bottom of this new character, Wonyoung asked the older.

"Who's this 'ice prince' guy anyways?"

"A guy in the same grade as me. His name is Park Sunghoon, he's known for having drop dead gorgeous looks but a cold attitude."

Great. Now Wonyoung was nervous. Was she about to treck the land of someone who has clearly built a reputation for himself? But then the nervousness that was once present was replaced with excitement, Wonyoung liked to challenge herself when it came to her art. Maybe this 'ice prince' would challenge her in ways she hasn't faced before.
