Rivaan's Pov
I and Aadhya were walking on the streets as she wanted to walk with me while others left for the hotel ! I was beyond happy today because the lady i loved the most and the only one i laid my eyes on was now my fiance! I was happily shocked when she said that she loves me too! Little did i knew about her approval but my overthinking self didn't made me believe it !
We walked in silence for a little as Aadhya was keeping her head on my shoulder and i was side hugging her while walking ! A few moments later it started snowfall and Aadhya got even more happy while seeing the snow ! She told me once that she loved snow but never got to see it! Her dream come true on such a special day as this she ran like a child in the middle of the road and started enjoying the snow as i was just standing there lokking at her at her with my arms crossed and eyes laid on her and only HER!
After a while as a cold breeze hit her and she shivered i went towards her and removed the coat of mine and made her wear it! I don't want her to catch a cold because if she gets sick ! She will get extremely weak which I don't want at all! We stayed a little in the snow and also made a snowman on her demand! I ended up being a child myself too because i wanted to feel the things she wanted me to feel! I can do anything which will make happy!
When the snowfall stopped i again embraced her in arms and she held me tight too! I pecked her head and we stayed like that a little when my phone started buzzing with the reminder reminding me that tomorrow is the reception party and the day after tomorrow she will be leaving for London!
I won't stop her from achieving her dreams ! I will wait for her till my last breath because if it's not her then no one else too!
It's just a year more and then we will be tied in a holy bond of wife and husband! I will proudly introduce her as my wife! I don't bother being called as Surgeon Aadhya's husband as hearing it will make me much more pround!
We came back to the hotel and Aadhya straightly took me to her room to open the gifts and asked me to get that trolley in which all the gifts were kept and i did so
She started opening the gifts one by one that i chose wisely on her likes and dislikes
When she started opening the gifts, she first opened the watch and her eyes shined like she got the favourite sweet of hers, the second she opened was a chocolate box of her favourite international dark chocolates, third she opened was a photo frame of our family together, fourth she opened was a panda which she loved, fifth was the hoodie with jerry printed on the back and just then i showed him a tom one which i would bought for myself! She giggled alot on that! Sixth was a chain and pendant which was simple yet elegant just like her! It matched her personality, seventh was a perfume from her favourite brand which smelled like coffee and chocolate, eighth was a keychain in which a photo of hers and those children from orphanage was printed! Ninth was a photo-frame in which we both were hugging each other it was from the day of Aadhya's farewell party! Vihaan clicked it and it turned out really beautiful! Tenth was a guitar as she loved playing it! Eleventh was a football which she was willing to learn from me! Twelfth was a pair of earrings which had emrald in it! Thirteenth was sneakers, Fourteenth was a green full bodycon long dress which would reach her ankles and it will cover her body fully as nowadays she likes full length clothes! Fifteenth was a black cargo which she thought to buy but it had a size issue! Sixteenth was a bunch T- shirts which were matching to Rivaan! Seventeenth was a silver bracelet with butterfly charm on it! Eighteenth was a ring which had a heart shaped diamond on it! Nineteenth was a box again full of chocolates! Twentieth was a box which had different shades of lipsticks which Aadhya liked! As she only applied lipstick on the name of makeup! It was an essential thing! Twenty first was a black clutch! Twenty second wass a puppy soft toy! Twenty third was a bouquet full of crotchet white tulips! Twenty fourth was a book bouquet! Twenty fifth was a pack full of chocolate cookiess! Twenty sixth was a nameplate which had written " Surg.Aadhya Adani Singh" it was made beforehand only as Rivaan thought that he would remove it if Aadhya rejects him and after seeing that nameplate she was beyond happy!! Twenty seventh was a pair of payals! Twenty eighth was a hand written letter like vintage ones and it had written:
My Dear Aadu,
Happiest 29 years of happiness! My ray of hope and love! The happiness you bring in my life is inexpressible.. I love you the way you are and so does everyone! Go and pursue your dreams like they are made for you! Wishing you a day as special as you aree! Your presence in our lives is a true gift!You are the pillar pf the family and the one who hilds the family and make the lives brighter! Many many happy returns of the day Aadu!
Aadhya hugged Rivaan so tight and broke into his arms!
" I'm really very very lucky to have you! I LOVE YOUUU SO MUCH RIVAAN!" Aadhya said and hugged Rivaan more
"I LOVE YOU EVEN MOREE MY LOVE" Rivaan said and hugged Aadhya even more
A few days later-
Rooh and harpreet's reception went by and all of us were happy but a sudden thought strike my mind that tomorrow Aadhya will leave us for a whole year! I know i have waited for her past few years but now she is right beside me as my fiancée which is making me more upset as now I can't even bear a single hour without seeing her! How eill i manage to spend a whole year without glancing her once!
Aadhya was looking very happy but that happiness turned into a sad face as she saw her parents enjoying themselves! I side hugged her as she kept her head on my shoulder saying" If this dream cost me the distance from my parents and you then i want to break this dream of mine!" She said this directly looking into my eyes
I was broken inside hearing these words of her because she shouldn't break her childhood dream just because of a long distance for a year! I know it's too hard for her me and her parents but exchanging her dream with a little happiness of a year being together is a ridiculous deal I can't let her do that
" Aadhya! My Love! Look at me ! Look at my eyes! This distance is not at all long because the distance which matters is by heart and your heart is joint with mine! Your parents and rest of our family is so much close to you that even if you close your eyes in an empty place you will find all of us rught beside you! Cheering you to pursue your dreams! If being close to yoh physically cost us your dream then we are better being apart physically for a few period of time! Gooo! And pursue your dreams to becone a better version of yourself and make all of us proud!"Rivaan said making an eye contact with Aadhya and giving her the confidence not to give up due to some peoblems!
