"Hey, you grabbed a schedule, right..?" Ramona mumbled, motioning to a sheet sitting on the other side of the bench.
"There's a schedule..? I thought it was random.." Serenade tilts her head.
"Only the fighters get them. Grab that sheet for me?" Ramona asks, and Serenade reaches over to grab it.
She pointed at Serenade's name. "It looks like your first fight is gonna be with Rosè. She probably pulled some strings." She smiles softly.

AND NOW FOR HER UNFORTUNATE OPPONENT.. SOURCELIGHT SYMPH!

Unlike Rosè, the young man didn't have such a grand entrance. He quietly walked onto the arena, and Serenade recognized him from earlier. He looked as if he could care less, but she noticed a slight smirk on his face. He slipped a hand in his pocket, and the crowd went wild. Probably because he was conventionally attractive, Serenade thought to herself.
Sourcelight had tanned skin and black hair. It was fluffy, but held down by a dark green beanie. He was taller, noticeably taller than Rosè was, likely by a foot or two. It was impossible to tell anything else about him. She couldn't see if he had muscle or not, because he was wearing long sleeves with layers of clothing, like most guardians.
The audience was chanting Rosè's name, and seemed almost solid that she'd win. She clearly felt the same way, because she walked up to Sourcelight with a smirk. Her heels clacked against the concrete, it was loud, even with the audience.
Although she was approaching him, he just.. stood there. He stared her down through his eyebrows, and his tangible cockiness ate at Rosè. Her smile faded, and she walked a little faster.. and a little faster.. until she was running.

"..You little bitch.. I'll show you to be coc-" But Rosè was sent flying with a crack. Sourcelight hadn't even moved an inch, but the second Rosè had come within range, he'd sent her away with a blow. She tumbled onto the concrete, saving herself by landing on all fours.
"Show me what? Show me from all the way over there, Munde?" Sourcelight grins. Rosè scowls, trying to figure out a way to beat him when not only is he fast, but he's strong. And that attitude he's got might ruin her image.
Rosè dashes to him, but before getting into his range she swerves behind him. Sourcelight expects this, and punches behind him. Rosè expects this, and ducks, grabbing his leg and throws him. Sourcelight rocks the floor, and skids along it giving him exposed skin on the side of his face. No longer messing around, he practically shoots toward her, blowing wind toward the audience due to his sheer speed, Rosè pulls out an ax she had behind her and brings it down blindly, anticipating him to reach her by the time it hits the ground. He would've, if Sourcelight didn't quickly get himself out of the way, wiping himself once again on the concrete, tearing at his exposed skin once more.
This time Rosè shot at him, and they stuck to high speeds with Rosè risking it all. They met fists, and continued to clash at rapid speeds while the audience went wild. Sourcelight was still faster than Rosè, and she was exerting everything she had to match his speed. She got out of the way and created distance, unable to take the rapid attacks anymore. She panted, scowling.
In the short time it took to regain her breath, she approached Sourcelight, but he disappeared. Rosè thought the heat and exertion was fooling her, until she felt a tap on her shoulder. She threw a punch behind her, and Sourcelight caught it, crushing her fist. It was as if you could hear each individual bone crack. Rosè shrieked in pain and stumbled back. The audience gasped.

"W-What the hell was that..? N-No way, he taught you..?" Rosè mumbled, her voice shaking from the pain of all broken fingers.
"A little trick of mine. Since you clearly can't keep up, I won't do it again. But I have to say, I expected a little more from the champion for.. what, 3 years running? You've faced off against millions of people, but if you can't handle a trick like that, I'm just disappointed." Sourcelight sarcastically laments, ignoring her last question.
"You're different and you know it. You're just teasing me. But you aren't different enough. Even with that trick, I'm going to kill you." Rosè growls.

"Try me, Rosie. Show me what a champion can do." Sourcelight mocks, gesturing to Rosè like a matador. He backs up and takes a bow. Rose, who only had her head turned, flipped her whole body around with the weight of her ax. She intentionally makes it seem heavy, and while it might've been to a normal person, or a tired Rose, her strength was almost unmatched.
