"Welcome in, welcome in! I'm so relieved some peopleactuallychecks their emails." The blonde male shot a pointed glare towards Rei, the former only slumped over on the couch in response. He either didn't seem pleased or was merely uninterested in the situation or her presence.
It's difficult to tell.
"Ignore him! The shut-in's always like this." 'name' only rolled her eyes, used to both their attitudes after working along side them for so long. "Don't get cocky, Kazuki. I'm only here for the money you offered, I don't give two sh*ts about you, the shut-in, or some kid..."
Despite her words, her lips pursed. The bitter words without any bit of sweetest stung into her tongue. A hardened heart is required for a hitman- woman?- after all. This child would be out of all their hair shortly, surely.
"Ha, you say that now, but you haven't even met her yet.. I thought that too at first.." 'name' placed down her boxes with a thud, the loud noise shifting the topic.
"...she's in her room. I'll call her out once it's time for dinner." Kazuki's voice was surprisingly soft, a shift from what 'name' knew. A pleasant surprise to the ears, but an awful one to the heart. 'He's attached.. that's no good.'
"Just.. try to be kind to her, alright? It wouldn't hurt to give her a good mother figure." The man gave you a bright thumbs up, his soft tone changing into a more energetic one mid-sentence. 'Mother...' she thought, biting her tongue so badly she thought she'd snap it off.
That word. That single d*mn word.
"Whatever.. I expect good pay, Kazuki.." "No child is going to make me-"
"Are you my new mama?!" That voice. Small, soft, cute, and sweet. Exactly what you'd expect from a pure child looking for nothing more than mama. A mother. It was at that moment, she knew..
'name' had really, really f*cked up.
