~ Aya pov :

I was so nervous! When the teacher called me to introduce myself, my heart pounded in my chest.

Qandeel looked at me with a reassuring smile and signaled for me to go ahead. Taking a deep breath and silently reciting a quick prayer, I stood up and walked to the front of the classroom.

The teacher greeted me with a warm smile, and I forced a smile in return, trying to steady my trembling hands.

"Assalam o alaikum," I began, my voice wavering slightly but gathering strength from the familiar greeting."My name is Aya Khan. Nice to meet you all."
Despite my best efforts, I couldn't shake the feeling of discomfort.

It felt like someone was staring at me intently, making my skin prickle with unease.

I glanced around the room, my eyes scanning the faces of my new classmates. Suddenly, I locked eyes with a specific person.I was shocked and confused. My breath caught in my throat as I murmured under my breath, "Him?"
It was the same boy who had been bullying another student earlier.

Why was he staring at me like that?

Rolling my eyes, I decided to ignore him and focus on the rest of the class.

To my relief, the other students welcomed me with warm smiles,

especially Qandeel, who looked genuinely happy. I felt a wave of gratitude wash over me, thinking,

"I think I've truly found a friend by the grace of Allah."

I couldn't help but steal another glance at the boy. His intense gaze hadn't wavered, and it sent a shiver down my spine.

My mind was buzzing with curiosity and a sense of foreboding. Why was he looking at me like that?

Shaking off the uneasy feeling, I focused on the welcoming smiles of my classmates.

Their warmth was reassuring, and I felt a glimmer of hope.

This was just the beginning, and I was determined to make the best of it, despite the unsettling encounter.

With a silent prayer, I resolved to face whatever challenges lay ahead with courage and faith.

----------------------------

The teacher signaled me to sit down, and I made my way back to my seat.

As I settled in, Qandeel leaned over and whispered, "You did great, Aya."

"Jazak'Allah khair ," I replied, grateful for her support.

I tried to focus as the teacher started his lecture, but I could still feel the unsettling gaze from the boy at the back of the classroom.

After the lecture ended, Qandeel and I gathered our things and headed to the lockers.

As I stood up, I couldn't resist glancing back. He was still staring at me non-stop. I whispered under my breath,
