They get in the truck and go get lunch and then shop around a bit
Tim:Luce where are we going to put all these pillows
Lucy:we will rotate them and the others will go in the closet

Maddie:omg daddy look she runs to the doll isle and he sees her looking at the horse stable

M:but daddy i need it for my horse farm

Lucy:hey thats enough daddy said no and thats final Maddie

Lucy:Maddie Angeline Bradford stop it
Tim:come on baby its time to go
She pouts but grabs his hand and walks with him
She has tears rolling down her face in the truck Tim feels bad its the first time he has had to say no to her and it hurts him to see her sad

Lucy:babe we can't just buy her anything she wants whenever she wants

They drive back home and Maddie is still sad Tim tries to play horses and cheer her up but it doesn't work so he makes a decision
Tim:hey Luce ill be back i have to run to Angelas with that carseat

He does go by Angelas and drop off the carseat so he isn't technically lying but then goes back to the
Store and buys the horse stable for Maddie when he gets inside he sees Lucy
Tim:alright look don't get mad but he shows it to her

Tim:just this once ok
Lucy:fine but its not happening again
Tim:ok hey Mads daddy got you something
He pulls out the horse stables and she jumps off the couch
Maddie:thank you daddy
Tim:your welcome baby
He walks into the kitchen with Lucy
Tim:you mad at me
Lucy:no i just wish you would of talked to me first
Tim:sorry i just couldn't see her sitting there sad anymore
Lucy:she needs to learn no Tim
Tim:i know but for today i just want her to be happy
Lucy:its hard to be upset with you when your such a good dad you know that

Tim:i didn't technically lie i did go by Angelas and drop off that carseat

They both look over at Maddie happily playing away
Tim:im forever grateful ti whatever it was that brought you back here back to me
Lucy:honestly when i got the job offer i wanted to turn it down but then i realized its a chance for you to meet her and she would have the relationship with you that you and i never had with our dads
Tim:well i can't thank you enough

Tim stands behind Lucy holding her by her waist while they watch Maddie play
Tim:i am a little sad i missed out on her as a baby and her birthdays but im happy im here now
Lucy:me too i kept a picture book for you

Lucy:yeah ill grab it she goes to his hall closet and grabs her bag she brought
Lucy:i was waiting for a good time to give it to you and this seems like one
Tim looks through it and sees the first picture its pregnant Lucy
Lucy:oh god i was 8 months here
Tim:still beautiful
He continued and sees Maddie when she was first born

He keeps going and sees a bunch of baby pictures and then comes across birthdays he has tears in his eyes

She grabs a little cd and puts it into the dvd player
On the tv: Lucy:say mama say mama

Then it switches to her first steps
Lucy:you can do it baby come on he sees Maddie stand up and slowly walk
Lucy:yay she pulls Maddie into her and turns the camera to her and Maddie
Lucy:say hi daddy we wish you were here
Tim is full blown crying now

Lucy:your welcome i wanted to make sure i got these moments documented i knew one day you
