As the sun shines brightly, her eyes are brimming with determination to do well at her job and also to decipher the dreams that she sees every night.
Though her nightmares leave her disturbed, pained and upset, she can’t compromise her work due to the bad dreams. She doesn’t even know half of the people she sees in her dreams. But due to this, she suffers from migraines, and whenever she tries to tell her parents about the same, they do not believe her. For them, it’s the effect of the horror or mysterious movies that she watches at night.
However, she is ready for the day at work. She can’t compromise her work for some mere dreams, which do not hold any significance for her, at least not right now.

Ruhana Bisht is a fashion designer by profession and owns a fashion boutique, TrendVerse Creatives. She’s very passionate and particular about her work. She wants everything to be perfect and her team at TrendVerse knows that well. She’s a well-known name in the fashion industry, and she’s only climbing the stairs of success. She’s a happy-go-lucky girl, but her dreams and visions have made her a quiet soul. She gets ready for the day and heads out of her room. Her home is a one-story bungalow; her room is on the first floor, along with a guest room and a corridor adorned by a swing on the balcony. On the ground floor, there are three rooms with a hall and kitchen. There are only three members in the family after the demise of her grandmother.
Ruhana heads down and moves straight to the room that belonged to her grandma. The pictures of her grandparents adorn one wall of the room. It is intact and Ruhana and her father spend time in this room often when they miss their mother or grandma. Ruhana picks up a small picture of her grandmother from the side table and hugs it. It seems like Ruhana loves her dearly and she misses her.
She has been close to her grandma and often shared her dreams with her. Her mother never believed her dreams but her grandma felt otherwise, and now she has the same kind of feeling for her dreams. She feels that the visions she experiences might be snippets from her past life. Maybe there’s something that she has left undone in her past birth. Well, is it possible?
No! It’s the instant answer.
No one would believe it at first but she is determined to find out. Her condition is completely different, and what would be the answer when you experience repeated dreams? She often experiences the same visions most of the time. And they do have a meaning; you cannot deny it. Ruhana, too, didn’t believe it at first, but now she feels that everything happening in her dreams is deeply related to her. She has to decipher the meaning of the same.
She caresses her grandma’s picture; maybe she wants to share things with her, but the lady is not around. And saying things to someone else means that they will make fun of her. And certainly, Ruhana doesn’t want it. She sighs deeply. She needs to dig into the mystery of her dreams. She needs to decipher if these dreams are related to her past life or if they are only hallucinations.

Ruhana joins her parents at the dining table and greets them. Her dad kisses her head and seeing her face, he knows there’s something wrong. Her father, Ronit Bisht, is a businessman and he loves his daughter dearly. His wife, Sandhya Bisht, is a homemaker and manages an NGO. They are a small, happy family. Ruhana is close to her father and wants to tell him everything but hushes herself. The man always has a lack of time and she fears that he will also laugh at her.She sighs deeply and serves sandwiches for herself. Sandhya passes a mug of coffee to her daughter and a cup of tea to her husband. Ronit looks at Ruhana and asks about her well-being. She assures her parents that everything is fine and she needs to head to the boutique early today. She doesn’t want to share anything with them until she’s sure about it. She doesn’t want her parents and family to make fun of her.
Ruhana finishes her breakfast and after hugging her parents, she leaves for the boutique. She has an order to finish and some more pending work. However, she has decided to visit the library to find the secrets of her dreams.

The day passes in a blur. Ruhana finishes her work. She has delivered the order and her new project is also in good shape. It’s almost seven in the evening when she finishes the work and closes the boutique. She takes a deep breath. She is feeling tired. She gives up on the idea of going to the library. She decides to visit the library on Saturday and thinking so, Ruhana drives home and is happily surprised to find her parents at home and also her best friend, Aadhya.Aadhya pulls Ruhana into a bone-crushing hug and tells her that she will be staying with her for the weekend. Ruhana is glad, while Sandhya is elated to have the girls and asks them to freshen up and come down for dinner. Aadhya and Ruhana agree and they head up into Ruhana’s room. Ruhana moves to freshen up while Aadhya waits in the room. She keeps her bag on the table and takes out some things from the bag. Ruhana comes out in fifteen minutes, changing into casuals and spots a book on the bed.
Her eyes widen as she reads the title of the book. Ruhana looks at Aadhya and she’s left flabbergasted.
“Secrets of the Past lives” is the title of the book.
“You’re searching for something like this, right?” Aadhya asks, the corners of her lips curving into a smile.
“Yes, but I didn’t even tell you. And why did you bring this here?” Ruhana is surprised.
“Ruhana, you’ve told me. Yeah, I didn’t pay heed to it, but I know it is always troubling you. I went to the library today and got this book for you. Let’s dig into the truth together.” Aadhya says this while looking at Ruhana.
“I don’t know, Aadhya. But yes, I want to know why I am experiencing such dreams.” Ruhana says this in a hug.
“This book should have your answers, Ruu. There’s something like the past. It’s in our subconscious mind, but we can’t relate to it.” Aadhya explains while smearing her hair.
“I read so; I hope I find some answers now.” Ruhana says hopefully.
Aadhya assures her that they will dig into the mystery and solve it together. Ruhana hugs her best friend for another time and soonish, they head down for dinner. They have the whole night to read and decipher the mystery.
To Be Continued.
