Meeting the family

Prolouge

Mao Mao was riding his areocycle which is a usual thing he does when monsters attack. But this time he wasn't in pure heart valley, instead he was heading towards of the direction of the Mao monastery aka his home.It was the annual mao family reunion that every Mao member can join. Mao Mao was unable to visit those reunions however, due to having to defend pure heart valley from monsters.But in this case, there was an important matter he had to tell his family, so he trusted Badgerclops and Adorabat to defend the valley without him.
In this special case as you know, Mao Mao met with Tanya Keyes, the Tanuki ,a year ago that led him to found out that he had accidentally knocked up Tanya leading her to be pregnant with their only child named Sun Mao.
Sun Mao was only 11 months old, a crossbreed of cat and tanuki(which makes him a canuki),he was staying with Mao Mao because his mother still had to do her job as a bounty hunter, She had promised to visit Sun as much as she can.
Mao Mao was left to take care of sun himself. He had help from Badgerclops and Adorabat, but it didn't help since both the adults have no experience with taking care of babies and Adorabat being too young.
So Mao Mao thought of seeking help from his family which he had not visited for a long time.He believed that his mother and sisters could give him assistance and advice on how to take care of a baby.
So Mao Mao took of from pure heart valley with Sun to visit his home.
Of course Mao Mao took precautions to keep Sun safe by carrying Sun using a baby carrier and keeping the straps tightly locked to prevent the carrier to be blown off by the wind.
"We're almost there Sun," Mao Mao told his son, " you are about to see your Grandparents and your aunts, how are you feeling?"
Sun just looked up at his father from the carrier and gave a confused babble.
"Oh right sorry," Mao Mao apologised," I forgot that you can't speak yet."
A few minutes later Mao Mao made a stop at the nearby village, found a place to park his areocycle and got off.
You may be wondering why Mao Mao could have just parked his areocycle near the monastery. Well that's because there is a rule established by Shin Mao, Mao Mao's father, that no one should use vehicles to get to the Mao monastery, with the Mao party bus being an exception. This was to test the strength and will of anyone who wished to visit the monastery, even for family members. The monastery is located on a mountain, right next to the village where Mao Mao was currently at. The mountain is very high, not as high as the largest mountain, but high enough to be tiring to get to.
"Well Sun," Mao Mao said, "looks like we're going to have to walk. The trek's dangerous, but you'll be safe with your heroic father by your side."
Mao Mao then proceeded to tickle Sun which caused the infant to laugh in amusement.
"Alright, that's enough talk, Mao Mao said, "it's time to see your family." Then Mao Mao proceeded to walk up the path on the mountain to see his old home.
