Riley scrambled his way through the unknown world, knowing that his friends could be in trouble. All the destruction around him in the world told him that Evil had been here, and by the sounds of things, supposedly killed Adam and Jester, since it had mentioned by Protector they were supposed to be here. He had to reach the machine and rescues his friends, knowing that his evil counterpart had the rat of his friends trapped. And with a bit of luck, Adam and Jester were still alive.

Turning the corner to the Casino, where normally the lab would stand, he stopped in an instant at the sight of the destroyed Casino. The once tall building reduced to debris, the machine he was looking for buried and gone. From the rubble, he heard a grunt of "I can't hold it up for long." Instantly recognising it to be Adam, he yelled out "Hang on, I'll get you guys out of there."

Following the sound of his friend's struggles, Riley lifted up the debris that threatened to crush Adam and Jester with the assistance of his telekinesis, pulling up both Jester and Adam. Immediately after escaping from the danger that had loomed on them, Adam fell to the ground in exhaustion.

"What the hell happened?" Riley asked, helping the unconscious Adam up alongside Jester.

"I don't know. The building just collapsed without warning." Jester answered, helping him. "My guess is we were attacked."

"Adams not in good shape. We need to find a place for him to rest at."

"I may know a place we can stay at. I'm sure our friends of this world won't mind."

As both he and Jester carried Adam down the street, Riley could tell Jester was not happy with him being around, but knew that having his help was better than none. Riley knew nothing he did would make up for the atrocities he committed, but no matter what, it wouldn't get in the way of him not only saving his friends and his world.

"I know you both hate at the moment," He spoke to Jester. "But for now let's put that behind us. I'll talk properly about it when Adam wakes up, but we have bigger fish to fry at the moment. Evil and his gang has everyone else."

"What? I thought they were hiding out somewhere."

"If they were, they were found. I saw when I left the world I was in. Well, to be more precise, that world's void. Don't know how I ended up there, but when I used that world's Gateway to get outta there, it was a bit of a glitchy ride, and I saw other worlds, including them being trapped."

"So it's just you, me and Adam."

"And I'd presume they'd think you and Adam are both dead, so they'll be after me. So yes, we are the last hope."

"Well that helps our situation then. Anyways, we're here. Your version's home, I guess."

The home of his counterpart was similar to Riley's own, but more suited for his counterpart. Green covered majority of the walls, floors and ceilings, with dashes of gold and black. But there was no time look around. Riley and Jester laid the still unconscious Adam on the couch and sat down in a seat of their own. It only took a meter of minutes for Adam to awaken.

"Ow, where the heck am I." He muttered, looking around the room to see Jester, then Riley. "And what the hell are you doing here."

"I understand, you don't want to see me, Jester doesn't want to either. But we have to work together in order to defeat Evil."

"I'd rather take him on myself than risk you backstabbing us again. Besides, how hard is it to get help instead of murdering us all."

"You don't get it at all! You don't understand one bit. None of you do. Just jumping to conclusion from what you've seen. You haven't been in my shoes!" Riley lashed out, almost jumping up from his seat.
