Ivelle Silverwood

After we played multiple stupid games, everyone went back to their own dorm.
"I can't believe Draco kissed you,"
Sienna snickered as we lay in our beds.

After we started playing game after game, Draco and I had to kiss. It wasn't a passionate kiss, but it was still a kiss.
"Yeah, same. Honestly, he should have kissed you," I joked.

"Are you crazy?! That would never happen, ever! But tell me... was it great?" I could picture her big grin.

"Oh, shut up... but... it wasn't bad, actually," I admitted, staring up at the ceiling, where I could see nothing but darkness.
"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah.." With that, I closed my eyes and disconnected from the world.

Even though my eyes were closed, I could see the light through my eyelids.
"Why the fuck didn't we close the curtains?" I mumbled, still half-asleep.
"Probably because we're stupid," I heard Sienna say as she brushed through her hair.
A smile crept onto my lips. "I don't know what you mean by 'we!"

Then, a pillow landed on my face.
"Now get up, sleepy princess. I won't drag you to class," she laughed, and I couldn't help but laugh too.

"Okay, okay! Give me a moment!"
"My head hurts so bad..." Sienna groaned as she let herself fall onto my bed.
"I've got some tablets in my drawer," I yawned while sitting up.

"Thanks, bae, you're a lifesaver." The brunette got up and went to my drawer to grab the tablets.

The old drawer was made of dark oak wood and always made the same weird sound whenever someone opened it.

"Do you need some too?" Sienna asked while getting the tablets out of the overfilled drawer.
"No, I'm fine, thanks."

I had an amazingly high tolerance for alcohol, so it didn't really bother me that I drank like mattheo last night.

Yes, he actually had a little problem with alcohol, but it had gotten better.

In the middle of fifth year, he got alcohol
poisoning from drinking too much in a short time. After that, he said, "I will never drink again." Never lasted for a week, and then he started again, but he was way more careful than before.

Sienna suddenly jumped up from the floor. "Fuck! We have Potions in a few minutes, and I didn't do the homework!"

"Okay, don't panic! You can copy mine, yeah?"
Sienna looked relieved, like I had just taken a big load off her. "Oh my goodness, Ivy, I love you to the moon and back!" she said with a grateful smile.

After I gave Sienna my homework so she could copy it, we got ready for class and sprinted through the hallways so we wouldn't be late.
I always wished we could just Apparate to our classes, but first of all, none of my friends, including me, ever learned how to do that, and second of all, it didn't even work at Hogwarts. Trying to Disapparate from school on purpose was forbidden.

As we finally reached the wooden door to our classroom, Snape was about to enter the room. His gaze shifted from the door to us.
"Just in time..." he said in his
melancholic voice before he held the door open so we could enter, the already full classroom.

looked around the room and searched for an empty seat. My eyes found an empty spot next to Blaise, so l walked over to the chair and sat down. "Well, hello, hello," I said with a small smile.

I knew it was out of the blue, but I needed to know. "You have to tell me something, Zabini... are you dating
Luna?"

He looked a little surprised, as if he didn't expect my question. "l... how do you know?"
"Draco told us while he was high," I admitted.
"That cheeky bastard! I'm never telling him anything again!" he shook his head and looked down at his unopened book.
"So... it's true, huh?" I grinned at him, and he sighed softly.

"Yeah."

"Since when?" I was really interested in the whole Blaise-Luna thing.
"Since the end of last school year," he said, looking at my face.

"End of last year?!" I said in a tone that was way too loud-so loud that everyone looked at me, and Snape walked over to our table and slammed a Potions book down in front of me.
"Is there anything you want to share with the class, Miss Silverwood?"

"No, sir."

"Good.." he looked down at the book in front of me. "Chapter 34," he said before returning to his desk.

I looked over at Blaise, who was trying to hold in his laughter. "Don't you dare start laughing, Zabini," I hissed.

"I'll try my best," he replied with a grin.
After reading some boring book pages, the class was finally over.

As I made my way out of the classroom, I heard someone calling my name. I wasn't sure who it was, so I turned around to find the person who called me.

My eyes scanned the classroom and landed on Enzo, who waved me over.
"What's up?" I asked as I stood in front of him.

He smiled at me. "So... I know this sounds like a weird request, but...
Katlynn asked me out on a date, and I said yes, but I don't want to go alone because, honestly, she's starting to annoy me a little. I mean, don't get me wrong! She's gorgeous and everything, but she's gotten a little too clingy. You know, I don't really want anything serious right now, so clingy girls don't really fit into my plan. Okay, so what I wanted to ask is... are you in for a double date?"

I was a little perplexed. Did Enzo seriously just ask if I wanted to go on a double date with Katlynn, him, and... who? Who would be my date if I said yes?
I raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "Wait a minute... you're asking me if I want to go on a double date with you?" I pinched my arm to see if this was real.

I never, and I mean never, expected Enzo to ask a question like that!
Normally, he was such a confident person and would never consider something as absurd as asking for a double date because he wasn't feeling comfortable enough!
But here he was, nodding at my question.
"And who would be my date?"
"I don't know, ask Mattheo or Theo, or both," he said with a mischievous grin.
"You're so funny," I said with a straight face.
Then I sighed, considering my options.

Asking one of my friends didn't sound too bad, but I was unsure about Mattheo because it would be kinda weird to go on a date with him after he had a crush on me. Maybe it was just me who would find it weird, but this was going to be my date, so in the end, it was up to me.
"Fine, I pick Theo," | said confidently, even though I didn't feel that confident. What if he said no?
Bullshit. Why would he?
Oh god, how I hated my thoughts.
"So you're doing it?" He looked like my saying yes to a double date surprised him.
"What, are you surprised?" My eyes wandered over his face, absorbing his reaction. For the first time, I noticed how his brown eyes seemed to sparkle.

"No! I mean, yeah, kind of... but don't take it personally. It's not because of you," he said with a smirk. "Are you gonna ask Theo, or...?"
"Yup, I'm gonna ask him. When and where are we meeting up?" I asked, feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation.
"Let's say 7 at the Great Hall, and then we can all go together."
"Where are we going?" I pressed.
"To some fancy restaurant-| forgot the name, but I'm sure l'll remember it when I see it!" he laughed a little nervously.
I let out a little laugh. "Well... okay, l guess I'll have to trust you."
"Yes! You know you can trust me, right?" His puppy eyes almost made my heart melt.

"Yes, I know I can," I replied with a small smile. Enzo could be infuriating, but he had a charm that was hard to resist. Besides, I knew he would never say or do anything that could hurt me
—at least not on purpose.
"Great! I'll see you at seven, darling," he said, giving me a kiss on the cheek before leaving the classroom without looking back, leaving me a little flustered
