[ Tuesday, 7:30 am ]

Keith woke up by the light of the day shining through her window, followed by the sound of the lively bird. I've never heard of that. The last time, her mom woke her up as she heard the sound of it. Her mom would get mad because it's already late for school. She's now sixteen, and she's already living at her house alone. She has been living alone ever since she's still in middle school. She dropped out of high school because she couldn't afford it since it was expensive and her grades were pretty bad. She does part-time jobs to pay for electricity, food, and more. The next thing she knew when she woke up was perfect early in the morning. It's rare for her to wake up this early. The last time was when she was still in school. She decided to start the day by stretching her body to get started.

It's a holiday right now. Some people would rather have their holiday by themselves or spend it with their families and friends. But, for a loner like Keith, she would usually just waste her time reading books or watching movies.
She turned her head to the side to get a good look at her clock to see what time it was. Right. I had an appointment with Laura later in the afternoon. She got a good, warm, hot shower to steam herself up from the cold breeze of the night. She turned off the shower as soon as she finished and grabbed her towel. She decided to get dressed early because it would be a waste if she changed clothes too many times a day. As for dressing, well, it's not like she's going on a date but a dear friend of her only. So she went with a simple black shade turtle neck and tops to finish it. With all that set, she's ready for the day. As usual, she has to do her daily routine. Vacuum, wash the dishes, water the plants, make her bed, throw the rubbish out, and much more. She already did the laundry and mown the law the other day. After all of the work was done, she decided to waste her time by just reading books. Before reading it, she went to the kitchen to make herself a hot cocoa. She placed the hot cocoa at the small table in her living room. She grabbed one of the books on the table and opened the book as she began to read it.

It's almost twelve o'clock, so she closed her book and put it back to the table. She grabbed the hot cocoa earlier and finished it. She washed the cup afterwards and put it in the cabinet. After everything was done, She went out and locked the door. There's barely any burglar there, but she just has to make sure nobody goes in.
She took the bicycle to get to her destination, where Laura told her to meet up. It's not far from where both of them live. After a few minutes, She arrived at the cafe. She went inside the cafe and searched for her. She saw her beside the window across the room, sitting on a single table with two chairs facing each other. Laura waved at Keith to call her out to notice her by the crowd that seemed to be blocking her ways. Then, Keith begins to walk up to her and sit down on one of the empty chairs in front of her.

"Been a while, right?" Keith scoffed. "Time do fly so fast. The last time we met was in elementary school." They're all teenagers now. Back then, Laura and Keith used to always hang out with our other friends in the group. They barely even meet nowadays. "Yeah..Though what's with the sudden?" I ask in curiosity. "Oh, it's because I want to bring you to a place." A place? Like, here? She asked further on what place Laura meant by it, but Laura refused to tell her. Is there something up with this place she's talking about? Keith thought to herself. Instead, Laura just stood up and told Keith to follow her. Keith's curiosity leads her with Laura. They went out from the cafe as a bright daylight above them shining through. "Need a ride?" Keith asked Laura. Laura didn't seem to go here with any transportation, so Keith offered Laura her bike. She nods and sits on the back of Keith's bicycle. "You ride, and I'll tell the directions." She says happily. Seriously, some things are really up with this girl. But it'll be nothing much surprising. I've been with her ever since elementary school, and she always has something to come up with. I pushed my pedal while she was giving the direction.
