capitulo 1

En un mundo donde los dones especiales eran codiciados y las propuestas de matrimonio se convertían en una carga, Kartein había optado por ocultar su verdadera identidad bajo la fachada de un hombre. Su habilidad de sanación excepcional, que superaba incluso a los mejores despertados, la había convertido en blanco de interés y ambición no deseada.

Una noche, mientras disfrutaba de un trago en un bar, sus ojos se encontraron con los de un hombre el cual no le importo quien era ella quería desahogarse así que lo invito el acepto. Entre risas y conversaciones, los tragos  sucedieron hasta que la niebla de la noche los envolvió y amaneció en una cama junto al desconocido, quien aún dormía ajeno a su presencia.

Kartein: (Internamente, alarmada) ¿Qué he hecho? Esto no puede estar pasando.

Se vistió rápidamente y se marchó, sin saber el nombre del hombre con el que había compartido la noche. Pensó que todo estaba bajo control, pero el destino le tenía preparada una sorpresa.

En poco tiempo, Kartein descubrió que estaba esperando un hijo de aquel hombre cuya identidad desconocía. La noticia la sumió en un torbellino de emociones, mientras luchaba por mantener su secreto a salvo.

Kartein: (Susurrando para sí misma) Debo mantenerme oculta, no puedo permitir que nadie descubra la verdad.

Decidió esconderse para evitar levantar sospechas, sabiendo que su verdadera naturaleza como mujer pondría en peligro su seguridad y la de su hijo. Ahora, en medio de la incertidumbre y el miedo, Kartein se enfrentaba a un futuro incierto, donde cada paso que daba podía llevarla más cerca o más lejos de la revelación de su secreto

Between laughter and conversations,the drinks continued until the fog of the night enveloped them and they woke upin a bed next to the stranger, who was still sleeping, oblivious to theirpresence.

Kartein: (Internally, alarmed) What have I done? This cannot be happening.

He dressed quickly and left, not knowing the name of the manwith whom he had shared the night. He thought everything was under control, butfate had a surprise in store for him.

In a short time, Kartein discovered that she was expecting achild from that man whose identity she did not know. The news sent her into awhirlwind of emotions as she struggled to keep her secret safe.

Kartein: (Whispering to herself) I must stay hidden, I can'tlet anyone discover the truth.

She decided to hide to avoid raising suspicion, knowing thather true nature as a woman would endanger her safety and that of her son. Now,in the midst of uncertainty and fear, Kartein faced an uncertain future, whereevery step she took could take her closer or further from the revelation of hersecret.
