A Holiday Romance (David Stewart)

I was so excited I had just got off the plane with my best friend Josh it was my first holiday with out my family and his first too. "Come on slow couch!" He shouted has he walked through the airport. "Okay, okay I'm coming". We reached the conveyer belt and watched as the suitcases went past us.

"Oi Ab...Abbie, Oi dip shit" Josh's hand grabbed me on my shoulder. "what?"

"You just missed your case"

"Did I?" I said as I scanned the conveyer belt looking for it.

"Yeah, I dunno how you missed it because you were looking right at it"

"I was daydreaming"

"figures" he said as he smiled at me.

"Speaking of cases, while you've been telling me I've missed mine I've bet you've missed yours too! Haha"

"Well who's fault is that?"

"Yours...dip shit"

"Oh shut it you" He said as he grabbed me on the shoulders and gave me a small hug. "There!" He shouted pointing in front of me, I quickly grabbed my suitcase and dropped it in front of me. Then he spotted his soon after and did the same, "Where we gotta go Josh?"

"Get a taxi too the hotel from out side here, come on" Then he pulled his suitcase through the airport and led the way.

"Cheers" Josh said as he shut the taxi door. "You need help with that suitcase Abbie?" He said in a sarcastic way. "No it was just hard to get it up the curb okay"

"Pfft your weak"

"Shut up"

"Haha come on...if u can walk with that thing" He said as he raised his sunglasses to the top of his head and smiled at me. Josh had an amazing smile as his teeth were all ways a perfect white.Most girls fell at his feet because of his witty charms and his sexy body.I had seen him topless plenty of times.He was lean and toned his body only had a light dusting of hair.Most people thought we were lovers and not best friends.

The hotel looked massive as it stood in front of us.The walls were of the lightest cream and two roman style pillars sat outside next to two palm trees.*Looks like something out of a movie* I thought as me and Josh slowly walked up to the glass doors.They were framed in a bright gold and a red carpet was flung out of the doors. We were both looking around us in shock as we got through the doors then we made it over to the check in desk where a tanned young girl turned to us "Welcome to the sunny-side hotel, have you got a booking" she said as she began to eye up Josh already.

"Yes"Josh said giving the girl a wink.

"Well umm I"The girl said going a deep red.I laughed under my breath as the girls face began to rival a tomato.She must have heard my laugh as she gave me a dirty look before she said "Well I need your names" She said snarkly.

"It's Josh Smith and Abbie Turner" Josh said dazzling her with a perfect white smile. She began to type on the computer in front of her "Ah yes here you are" she replied before she picked up two set of keys and held them in front of Josh. "Thanks love" Josh said in a flirty voice before dropping the keys into his pocket, the girl swooped her hair back over her shoulders as she looked towards Josh "Enjoy your stay and if you need anything I'm always happy to help"

"Yeah I bet you are" I said under my breath again but made sure she could here it. She rolled her eyes at me and looked me up and down like I was dirt. "Can I help you?" I replied sharply.

"No, enjoy your stay madam" She said in a fake voice. Josh grabbed my arm and pulled me away "come on Ab" and we walked over to the shiny silver lift doors as Josh pressed the button that shone a bright green. When the lift doors closed Josh turned to me "She seemed...nice"

"Nice? Are you kidding me?"

"Na she did, I mean come on she was fit"

"Don't even think about it" I said before laughing. Josh has never been in a relation ship because of the love he just goes with girls who he thinks are good looking and he thinks who will be easy to get with, which they are for him but the worst thing is they only want him for his looks but he is such a lovely guy. Then before you know it he's been dumped again or cheated on, Hopefully one day he will find the right one but for now neither of us really cared about finding the right person we just wanted to have fun.

We entered our room and as we stepped through the door we were both shocked at how big it was "Oh my god Abbie! Look at this" Josh said whilst he jumped up and down and ran over to me and jumped on me before looking back around him. "Wow this is amazing!"

"I get this room!" Josh shouted as he opened a door and looked in side. He flung his suitcase on to the double bed in front of him and took mine from me and threw it on the other bed in the room opposite, "This is gonna be great! And tonight Abbie we are going to PARTY!!"

"Yeah damn right!"
