I was woken the next morning by a mumbling sound. I dragged my heavy eyelids open and knelt down beside me was David smiling slightly. When I opened my eyes David said "Come on, quick"

I lifted my body up so I was now sat up in a bed. He then stood beside me, the room was quite dark and I could only see some light around some objects. "What time is it?" I said as I rubbed my eyes.

David glanced towards a clock on a wall when he said "um about three-ish but just come on quick" he smiled and pulled me out of bed. He walked swiftly with me trudging behind him. I was still half asleep and it didn't feel like we'd been back from Tyler's long either although I can't recall when he actually left...

Before long he swung the balcony doors open and pulled me out with him. The cool air hit me instantly before David took a seat and pulled me down onto his lap facing the opposite way to him, his arms snaked around my waist to prevent me from moving. For someone who has not long been woken up and is still a little drunk it was all very confusing.

"David" I began, but before I could continue he interrupted with "sshhh look" as he said this one of his arms loosed from around me and he pointed in the direction I was facing.

The sky was a dark blue-y colour with bits of almost pink scattered across the sky. Right in front of me I saw the sun rising up high in the sky; to watch over the city below. The bright orange sun sat midway in the sky directly in front of our view from the balcony.

"David...this is beautiful"

His arm lowered and snaked its way back onto my waist along with his other arm. "I remember you telling me that you love sunsets and sunrises. I saw it and I just had to show you"

I slightly turned towards him a little "You remembered me telling you?"

"Of course I do. You sound surprised"

"Well..I kind of am"

"Why" his voice cracked a little, it sounded like he was smiling as he said this.

I shrugged slightly as I said "well I find it really sweet that you remembered something like that about me"

"You do?

I still don't see how you're so surprised"

"Well to put it simply lets just say I've been out with some right twats previously who wouldn't listen to me like you do. Josh told me they only had one thing on their mind but I said otherwise, anyway to cut a long story short turns out Josh was right all along." I returned my view back to the sun which had now gotten higher in the sky since I last glanced at it.

I felt Davids warm breath as he placed his soft lips on my neck and whispered "They didn't deserve you" His lips then pressed down on my neck and his grip got a little tighter on me.

I turned my head to the side and he looked up at me, our eyes meeting again. I then whispered "No, I don't deserve you"

He smiled and then planted another kiss on my neck.

I placed one of my arms around his shoulders and lowered my head so it rested against his. After a short moment he moved slightly and looked back at me as he said "I'm knackered" and laughed a little.

"Yeah I mean I was wondering what you were doing up at this time"

"No I originally just got up for the loo and on the way back to bed I noticed the sunrise"

"And then you decided to pull me out of bed" I laughed a little.

He shrugged slightly "Well yeah"
