𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧 : 𝐀 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 | 𝐉𝐉𝐊 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬

Ch 8:- Yeh Shaam Mastaani

It was the morning after the Mehandi ceremony. The sun rays peeked from your window as you stirred in your bed, clearly wanting more sleep. You grabbed the blanket and snuggled in the blankets but that's when your door knocked. OK so you ain't getting any sleep today.

"Y/n!! So rahi ho kya??" (Y/n!! Are you sleeping??) Wow, these people, first they wake you up and then ask whether you were sleeping. You got up sitting on your bed. Rubbing your eyes, you yell back, "Do minute!! Aayi!" (2 minutes!! Coming!) You yawn and look at the wall staring at it, thinking of what to do, what happened last night and what will happen tomorrow.

That's when you remembered last night's events as a crimson shade touched your cheeks. Ahhh that scene. You gulped and looked down, but the door knocks made you flinch as you gasped and got up. Rushing, you opened the door, to see Aaliya and some other girls behind her.

"Done sleeping??" You leaned on the door frame and yawned, "No, you disturbed my beauty sleep, so lemme sleep" You were gonna close the door but Aaliya held the door. "Come on Y/n..." You chuckled and looked at them, "What's up? Yall are ready for some function??"

Aaliya shook her head as no, "Tomorrow is haldi and after 1 day is Sangeet. Come on, we need to practice!" You gasped, Right! You had a dance for Sangeet!! You smiled at Aaliya, "Count me in, I'll get ready and come out!" Aaliya nodded and smiled.

Meanwhile, "Guys!" The men who stood there stopped their discussion and looked up at Akhil, who came with his arm wrapped around Jungkook's shoulder. "Meet Jungkook, he is a good friend of mine and Best friend of Neha. Yall better include him in the dance! Aryan, Help him up!" Aryan nodded and smiled, "Yo bro, what's up?"

Jungkook smiled, "Nothing much bro! I'm excited to be in this dance!" Aryan and Akhil smiled at the excited Jungkook. Soon they heard a whistle as all look that direction to see Aaliya, who wore a yellow kurta pajama and dupatta, and with her was Y/n, who wore a blue kurta pajama with dupatta tied to her side.

"Jungkook is joining the bride's side!" Akhil and Aryan frowned, "No way!" "He is Neha di's friend!" Aaliya argued while Akhil argued back, "He is my friend too!" They both argued while Jungkook had his eyes on one girl, Y/n. He watched her up and down as he smiled, 'Blue suits her...' He then looked around and saw Aryan also staring at her.

Jungkook felt a pang of Jealousy as he looked at you again. But that's when, "Jungkook!!" Aaliya's voice brought him back to senses, "Yes!" "Whom do you wanna go with??" Jungkook gulped and looked at both Aaliya and Akhil, who were glaring at him. "Uhh... I'll go with Aaliya cause she invited me here right.."

Aaliya smiled and jumped in victory as Akhil sighed. And the dance practic started. Aaliya started teaching the dance as all started learning. And like that the whole day passed with dance practices. 

It was around 6pm now. Yogesh, Jaya, Yamini, Diya and Siddharth sat respectively on the couch,Yamini in the middle. They were talking and laughing with a cup of tea as Neha was sitting down on the ground near Yamini, wearing a long skirt and blue strap top. Her hands looking beautiful with the dark henna design.

Neha looked at Aaliya, Y/n and Jungkook who were walking to their room after practice, "Heyy guys!" The trio stopped and looked at Neha who smiled, "Come! Join us, we are planning on playing Antaakshari" Aaliya smiled widely and quickly sat on the ground near Siddharth, her dad. Jungkook Y/n sat on the other one seater sofa on the side of Yogesh as Jungkook sat on the one seater beside Siddharth.

The game began as Jaya, Neha's mom, started singing the song 'Choli ke peeche' as all started cheering and clapping. Continuing the game, Yogesh, Neha's dad sang 'Koi Ladki hai' song, as all the others started vibing to the chorus. Neha, following her dad started singing 'Dum maro Dum' making Aaliya and Y/n vibe as the older remembered the old version of Dum maro Dum.

Like that the game continued and at one point the father's started dancing with their wife's too. Jungkook, who watched and vibed, enjoyed this game a lot. "Nani ki baari!! Ya se!!" (Grandma's turn!! From Ya!!)  Yamini thought for some time as she smiled and sang, 'Yeh Shaam Mastaani'. (You can play 'Yeh Sham Mastaani' by Kishore Kumaar on Spotify if you wanna)

All enjoyed the song and also started joining the song. Neha stood up and held Yamini's hand and started dancing with her. As all started singing and Yamini and Neha danced. It was all giggles and smiles. As all danced and enjoyed, Jungkook smiled. He loved this feeling, the feeling of a huge family, a festivity and he wished this never ends. "Liya.. what does Shaam Mastaani mean??" He asked as Aaliya thought and smiled, "It kinda means, This evening is lively..." Jungkook smiled and whispered,

"Yeh Shaam sachi Mastaani hai..."
