Mattheo
After they finished interrogating the hostages, or rather Enzo did, Blaise encouraged them all to come to the safe house with him. “Find me another warehouse” Mattheo told Draco who was working the phone they procured. Draco nodded, he knew his brother was working hard but Mattheo still hadn't forgiven himself for leaving her with Viktor. Add this to the mix, he was bordering the line between reality and insanity.
“Its been several hours” Theo hissed as Blaise apparated the group of them to the safe house. Enzo gripped Theo's shoulder the two of them finding some kind of unspoken understanding as they held eachothers gazes. “She's strong” Enzo ensured him, Theo sighed heavily and nodded.
The safehouse was a single block of four muggle townhouses. It sat in a block of muggle real estate, the neighborhood not overly expensive or poor but rather in the middle. The home was off their books in every sense. Even if someone from their crew turned enemy they wouldn't be able to find it without Blaise. He and the house elf's, were it's secret keepers. The townhouses were individual on the outside but they were one large house on the inside. Each basement holding a healthy supply of cash, product, medical supplies and weapons. The four garages in the back held a small surplus of vehicles. Mattheo was impressed, Draco and Blaise had set this up strictly for emergencies, nobody else was even aware of it until today.
“I'm positive it's rune work that got past our wards” Draco explained, he had spent hours sitting over his computers redesigning their entire security protocols. “Its how they apparate, and hide” Draco continued. “They can't use magic so giving them runes makes them appear like they have magic” Enzo said next to him. Draco sighed sitting back and nodded “I've reworked our own runes, nothing will ever get past them again” He said angrily. Enzo placed a supportive hand on his shoulder before drawing out a new rune on a piece of parchment “Add these.” Draco nodded respectfully “This is what kept the Bulgarians a ghost, untraceable?” Enzo nodded, “removes any magical signatures from the designated area, technology included.” Draco studied it “You designed this?” He asked, Enzo nodded “For the Minister, in an event where he needs to disappear.”
Sophie walked into the large sitting room they set up as operations. She had a throw blanket wrapped around her shoulders and simply reached out holding a white collar in her hand. Theo grabbed it “I managed to grab it for you” she told him gently. He nodded and headed toward the staircase that would lead him down to the small armoury. “Tori?” Blaise asked “Free of the bloodcurse-” Sophie confirmed softly, she looked as exhausted as Mattheo felt “-I gave her a sleeping draught.” Blaise nodded as she made her way towards him “I've started a batch of anxiety potion” she explained. One of the townhouse kitchens was arranged as a potions lab. He shook his head, if he lost Ariella he would be far beyond needing a potion to rectify his mental stability.
“How's the lab?” He asked, she nodded “Evacuated and locked down, it hasn't been touched.” He sighed, nodding, two good things anyway. “How's Thomas?” He asked, she nodded “With his family, our warehouses are the same, untouched, locked down.” He furrowed his eyebrows, none of it made sense. “Its personal” Enzo murmured, shaking his head he thought aloud “He never brought me into it because it isn't Bulgarian business, it's personal.” He got up and stood behind Draco, “Bring up maps of Bulgaria” he told him. “There, there, there and there-” he pointed out, “-Blow them up, loudly.” Draco smirked getting on the phone with his contacts and barking orders. “Taking out his warehouses?” Mattheo asked, Enzo nodded, “I've drained his bank accounts, now removed his product, he has nothing left apart from his little muggle army.” Mattheo chuckled darkly and pulled out his own phone “Why don't we let the DMLE deal with that” he murmured as he hit send.
