You can believe that." A stocky dark man records. Turning off the recorder, he gets out of his car and walks down toward a apex facility.

Who knows what brave new future we'll dream of next. I'm Walter Simmons and it's my privilege to lead apex. Into humanity's bold new era. We're not going anywhere, and neither are you." A recorded message says throughout the facility. Bernie opens his locker.
"There you are baby." He says smirking. Tucking the drive away into his pocket, he continues his mission.
A man sits at his desk, working. Spinning his chair around he grabs an apple on the desk near his computer. "No don't eat that. It's incredibly unhealthy. It's just all the GMO's. Growing a second head could be useful. You have to let me know. Because me, Myself? I can barely handle the one I got." Bernie says, trying to distract the man.
"Bernie, you're not supposed to be here." The guy clearly annoyed that Bernie's here responds.
"You ever wonder what we're really doing here? I mean really doing here?"
"Why are you here? This isn't engineering."
"Because you know I had to wait because there rendering new specs. Which is going take over uh...that's calculating mode. Over an hour maybe even more.
