T. Davidson: Log Entry #1
It's official; I've been a police officer for a month. It feels like it went by so fast. A coworker recommended that I keep a diary of my experiences, so here I am. I've noticed a strange increase in late packages; it most likely concerns the news reports of large container ships going missing at sea.
Kiesha, my daughter, got into a fight at school. A kid was getting bullied, and she tried to stand up for the kid, so I'm proud of her for that, but she acted recklessly. I'm sure my wife has her opinion on our daughter's actions, as she is a Navy Admiral. My wife spends a lot of time in her office, but luckily for us, we live in the capital, and her office is close by, opening up a lot of time for her to spend at home when not in the office.
Sometimes, I wish she would tell me more about her job, but I understand that some things can threaten national security if shared. For example, she is avoiding the topic of the cargo ship disappearances, leading me to believe that something strange is happening, as much as I hope it is nothing.
T. Davidson: Log Entry #2
It's been a week since my last entry. My wife didn't come home tonight; she called me and said she would stay in the office for a while. I'm worried. Does it have to do with the ever-increasing number of missing ships? By now, fishing boats are not safe since they've started disappearing, too. If fishing boats are disappearing, the Navy is definetely having problems as well, my wife told me they lost a destroyer a few days ago. An entire Arleigh Burke-class destroyer just wholly disappeared without a trace.
As I write this, the news station just appeared with breaking news. An extensive combat engagement occurred in the Atlantic between the US Navy and an unknown enemy. I hope my wife is okay.
