Chapter 4

Nari's POV

Who would have thought na i'll meet that douchebag again!? like i am already looking forward to not seeing him ever again pero look who's smug face i'm looking at ngayon.

"Well.. you can take your seat now Ms. Rinaldi" saad ng aming professor while she's trying to relieve the tension inside the room.

The introduction goes on until it reaches the three guys at the back, they made their way at the front as if they were about to give an important speech.

"For the knowledge of everyone, I'm Ezraelle Sartori and y'all need to be thankful for I just blessed your day with my charming face." the blonde guy said, while flashing his bright smile in the room.

and of course it makes the crowd go screaming, hays.. the second hand embarrassment i felt for this guy.

"Cringe.." rinig kong bulong ni aceya.

"Kai Morelli, it's nice meeting you all, i hope we get along together" he said, while being the nicest guy in front.

Just as before the girls went wild. hello? are their throats not hurting for shouting? well my ears were about to explode.

Then i saw aliya roll her eyes.

The screams just got wilder when the next to make the introduction reluctantly came forth, we accidentally locked gazes however he suddenly switched his gaze to the other side.

Ano yun?

"Do i have to do this?" he asked irritatingly.

"Yes, now please introduce yourself" sagot naman ng professor at inutusang gawin ang pagpapakilala nito sa harap.

"Jace" mahinang sabi nito at dumiretso sa upuan niya, hindi naman siguro siya nagmamadali ano?

Well that concludes the introduction of everyone, and for us it was the start of our nightmares soon after.

If it weren't for that trio's doing i don't know who might be the reason behind our misfortunes today.

Kanina habang nagtuturo we can't concentrate since may kung anong lumilipad na maliliit na piraso ng papel ang ibinabato sa amin sa likod, hindi na lang namin iyon pinansin dahil we don't want to make fuss about it. and it's our first day we don't want to ruin it.

Then after the discussion we are instructed to go to the lab for our next subject, and for some unknown reason the elevator is under maintenance, pero the second we reach the lab using the stairs we saw students going out the elevator. and guess who's in there? those three guys. suspicious isn't?

On the laboratory, our lab coats are tangled together so we have nothing to wear, and for the rest of the class we aren't able to participate and who we just found laughing? of course the monster's themselves.

"I can't take this! yung tatlo na yun sila ang may gawa ng mga ito, i swear!" sabi ni aceya habang padabog na umupo sa vacant seat na nahanap namin sa cafeteria.

Yes! we just survived half of our day dito sa school, and of course with no doubt we have to face another more.

"Sino pa nga ba? i don't know why they are doing that to us" tanong naman ni aliya na nagtatakang isinubsob ang mukha sa kaniyang bag.

If i were right, it was all his doing and for sure he's doing this to me to get us even.. remember i accidentally and it wasn't my intention that i bumped and ruined his shirt last time? i didn't know he will attent the same school as mine, and i didn't expect to see him here as well.

"I might have been part of why they are doing it" sabi ko na ikinagulat naman nilang dalawa, then i started na ikwento ang nangyari.

"Oh! well that's not your fault!" sabi naman ni aceya.

"Agree, you even compensate him already!" pagsang-ayon naman ni aliya.

Magsasalita na sana ako ng may narinig kaming boses, when i looked back i saw a stern figure standing behind me.

"Compensating who?" tanong nito habang nakatingin pa rin sa kin ng masama.

He looked at me and moved even closer.

"Is that him?" tanong naman ni aceya sa akin na tinanguan ko naman bilang tugon.

"You think i forgot about you've done? you still owe me more than you have given me" sabi nito habang nakataas ang isang kilay at nakapamulsa pa.

I am really figthing the urge to just punch his face right here, right now. parang lahat ng guilt na naramdaman ko before sa ginawa ko sakaniya nawala na lang bigla. naalala ko bigla that i even said na i will buy him a new shirt if we ever met again, and ngayon na he's acting like an asshole again, i think i'm taking back what i just promised.

"Here i thought considering of buying you a new shirt when we met again, since i felt really guilty about what happened, but here you are going on and on again with how much your shirt cost!" sagot ko sakaniya, and yes i even want na palitan ang shirt niya, even promise myself of doing it.

He seems a little shocked and tried to shake it off when i noticed and started brushing the price of his shirt on my face like he always do.

Sa inis ko napatayo na lang ako, if that's what he wants then i'll pay him the extra, i don't even want to waste my energy on this guy.

"If you still insist i'll pay you the price of it, but i need a little more time" sabi ko sakaniya at tinalikuran na siya, sinundan naman ako nila aliya.

If he wanted it so bad then okay, pagkakuha na pagkakuha ko sa next paycheck ko sa work ibibigay ko sakaniya. nakakainis, he doesn't need to be like that. nakakainis!

Then our days went a bit more extreme than before, some of our belongings are missing, we are lost because someone took our schedules and changed the arrangements of our classes, and even worst some of the students took part of it that make things even difficult for us.

"Hindi na talaga ito nakakatuwa" saad ni aceya na nagtatanggal ng mantsa sa damit niya dahil may isang babaeng nagtapon ng milktea sa damit niya.

"Sorry guys, nadadamay pa kayo dahil sakin" paghingi ko ng dispensa dahil kung tutuusin i'm that scumbag target but because of me nadadamay pa tuloy itong dalawa sakin.

"It's not your fault, those guys are just bullies" sabi naman ni aliya habang tinutulungan din si aceya na alisin ang mantsa sa damit nito.

"Right! may araw din yang tatlo na yan!" padabog na saad ni aceya habang tinitignan ang mantsa sa damit niya.

After dismissal, as we are getting ready to finally call it a day, we noticed that some of the students are making a commotion in front of the bulletin board.

We stepped a little closer and nakitang may announce na nakapost, unlike other bulletin itong nandito parang kiosk machines, then it flashes the slides on the big screen. we saw a slideshow of the list of announcements.

The announcement includes the following events sa school, then at the end it shows a ranking system.

We both look at each other since ranking should be announce at the end of quarterly examination di ba? kaya nagtataka kami kung para saan ang lists na yun.

It first flashes a list of students, which they mainly called the Elites. we are not surprised to see the names of those three guys since they basically are the main hotshots sa school and the list shows the percentage as well as status of each student, the list goes on and on until it reaches the bottom list were we saw our names and status labeled as the low class.

We moved closer to see the overall rankings, and are still confused about how the system classifies each rank, then aceya spotted something in our name, it has a red mark and a note saying
