Chapter 6

Nari's POV

We are at the café today since it's weekends and aliya and I is on duty ngayon.

"Good morning girls, anong mga itsura yan?" tanong naman samin ni manager nang makita kaming nakamukmok sa counter.

"Wala manager, may iniisip lang kami" sagot naman nitong si aliyah at inayos ang postura nito.

"Ano naman yun? baka makatulong ako" tanong naman ulit nito kaya napakwento na lang din kami.

"Oh, hindi nga maganda yan mabuti pa't wag niyo ng paghimasukan ang mga yan at keep a low profile na lang para hindi na kayo madamay sa mga nangyayari riyan sa school niyo" sabi naman ni manager na mukha nag-aalala sa amin "mag-iingat kayo ha? tell me lang if you needed my help" dugtong nito bago siya pumasok sa office niya.

Nagpasalamat naman kami at bumalik na ulit sa trabaho, napagdesisyonan kong maglinis at mag-ayos ng upuan, ganon din ang pagtatapon ng basura.

May napansin naman akong isang lalaki na pabalik balik at tila may tinitignan sa loob ng café, kaya dali dali akong pumasok at tinignan ang kahina hinala nitong kilos sa loob. hindi ko muna ito sinabi kay aliya maging kay manager kasi baka mali naman ako ng hinala kaya inobserbahan ko muna ang kilos nito.

Habang nagseserve ako ay kita ko pa rin na parang may sinisipat siya sa loob, hangga't sa lumapit ito at akmang papasok ng bigla magbago ang isip niya at bumalik ulit sa kinatatayuan niya kanina.

Weird.

"Ms, can i have water?" rinig kong sabi ng isang customer namin kaya kumuha ako ng glass of water at ibinigay sa table nila.

Nang tignan ko muli yung lalaki sa labas hindi ko na ulit ito nakita. pero may nakita naman akong isang familiar na figure na papasok sa café.

Si Mr. Gwapong gwapo pala ito sa sarili. no other than the man itself, Ezraelle Sartori

"Hey! i didn't expect seeing you two here" nakangisi nitong bati samin pero hindi na lang namin iyon pinansin.

"Do you know them babe?" tanong naman ng kasama niyang babae.

"Nope, anyways what would you like to eat?" pagtatanggi nito habang inaakbayan ang kasama niya, who cares, we don't even know him din naman.

Aliya tried her very best to be composed habang she was taking their orders, i'm also running out of patience on how he treats and being disrespects her.

"That's all, you wanted to add something?" he looked at his companion and the lady decided to humiliate aliya out of nowhere.

"No wonder you look familiar, bakit magttrabaho sa café ang isang heir ng luxury resort?" she mokingly said to her with a loud voice while still clinging her hands to this asshole.

I was about to drag them out of the café when aliya said something.

"Well if that's all, i'll just ring your order up when it's all done.." she paused for a moment and flash a sarcasting smile "and as far as i remember my personal life is not on the menu, if you excuse me i need to take the order of the other customer. next please" she don't even dared to look at them while they were forced to move since may customer next on the line.

Ezraelle pulled the lady over, trying to calm her down when the manager saw how they badly treated aliya and decided to take the matter on his hand. i noticed that manager oli knew ezraelle, because i heard him calling him kuya for a moment and ezraelle explained na hindi niya ineexpect na gagawin ng kasama niya yun, kaya manager oli apologizes to the customers who witnessed it, and also called for aliyah, as well as tagging ezraelle and the girl along inside the office.

Ako na naghandle sa mga orders and serves it, while waiting for aliya na nasa office with them. soon later ezraelle together with the girl decided na umalis na lang sa café, while aliya with her victorious smile march her way to the counter.

"What happened?" i asked aliya kasi it looks like she just won something.

"Wala naman, i just taught her to never run her tongue towards people, and showed them who they're trying to mess with. and they both apologizes in the end" she said while smiling at me. i patted her back and raised my thumbs up as an approval.

Manager oli apologizes to aliya again, since he felt guilty towards what happened, kaya sabi naman nitong si aliya na it's not his fault, and said na hindi naman maiiwasan na may mga rude customers talaga.

When it's time for us to closed manager gave us both a pat on the back for our hardwork and said na he will be the one who will closed the shop since he's expecting someone to visit mamaya.

Aliya and i parted ways, i waved her a good bye as she did the same thing. naglalakad na ko papunta sa sakayan when i noticed someone na malapit sa lightpost leaning against his motorbike. i realized na he was the same guy kanina. the one who acts suspiciously kaya i speed up my walk and avoided making an eye contact with the guy as i passed through him.

When i looked back he was walking towards the shop, I watched him get closer and closer when he suddenly turned his head back kaya i run towards the shed and hide. hindi ko na ulit siya tinignan dahil natakot ako bigla, mabuti at may jeep naman agad na huminto sa harapan ko kaya sumakay na ko at napagdesisyunang umuwi na lang.

Nang makarating sa dorm, naghilamos na ako agad at nagprepare ng pagkain for my dinner, i opened my phone and took a quick snap of my food and decided to post it. i noticed that someone like it already and when i saw it, si aceya pala scolding me in a comment that i'm not eating healthy again.

then after a few minutes i noticed that someone followed me and when I looked to his profile there was nothing on it, besides of a photo of a dog posted a couple of years ago. i looked closely and realized that i had seen that dog before somewhere pero i can't remember where. kaya i hit the follow back button and like the photo as well.

I decided to sleep na rin after since i need to wake up early para pumasok na ulit bukas. i need enough energy since for sure mukhang may mahabang araw na naman kami tomorrow.
