Sharma House

"Mumma pls not now" Meera hissed, taking a bite out of her toasted bread

"What no? You both are not getting any younger, and are at the age where you both should get settled" Ekta continued to spread the pink coloured jam on bread, before passing it to Madhav

"Excuse yourself cause I am pretty young and all my focus is on my writing career' Meera happily exclaimed and sipped her orange juice

Oh, and did I tell you she is all set to complete her first book and release it in paper. She had been working on that book since last year and now her dream was about to be true but there were certain hindrances, stopping her success and one of them was money. Just thinking about it made Meera's mind sour. It would be better if she had money she could call her own

"Hey guy, tell me how do I look?" Advik entered the room, smoothing his tie. He was dressed it a light grey 2 piece suit, his hair styled back

"Ohho, kaha chal diya maharaja aise saaj dhaaj ke" Madhav looked at his son's atire and the unusual tidy form

["Where are you going so dressed up?"]

"I have a meeting to attend, and I am representing our company" Said Advik. Confidence dripping in his voice

"Lo ho gya kalyaan inki company ka" Meera commented, taking a sip of her juice

["Their company's future is doomed"]

"Unemployed people are not allowed to interfere in business talks" Advik grinned at her, knowing he hit a weak nerve

"I am saying this for the hundredth time. I am not unemployed I am an aspiring author" Meera stood up from her seat and glared at him. If eyes could kill, Advik would be dead by now

"Awww, papa ki pari ko hurt hua?"

["Aww, daddy's princess got hurt"]

"Nahi, magar ab ek mummy ke magarmach ko hurt hoga" Meera jumped on Advik as soon as she said those words

["No but mamma's boy will definitely get hurt"]

"Get off me" Advik shouted, pushing Meera off himself

"Kyu? Hurt ho rha h? Awww" Meera feigned a soft voice, reaching for his hair

["Why? Are you feeling pain?"]
