I woke up to Cameron's apartment and him out of bed. I just sat there for a minute soaking in all that had happened in the previous day before jumping out and walking to the kitchen. Opening the pantry I found Honey Nut Cheerios which would suit me just fine. Since I couldn't find a bowl I just climbed back into bed with the Cheerios and turned the TV on. The Today Show was he first thing that came to mind so that's the channel I plugged in. Cameron came back into the room on the phone speaking quietly.

"She's awake I'll ask her now. Ok. OK MAGGIE I KNOW." He burst. I stared at him intently. He hung up the phone and looked at me. "God she's annoying." He said crawling back with me.

"Tell me about it." I muttered watching Savanna Guthrie explain how to fill Jello holders with alcohol and Jello before sticking in the fridge. 'For a fun summer if you know what I mean!" She said smiling too bright. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him reach for my hand. I yanked my hand away bringing the Cheerio box with it. He looks at me and I looked at him. He was just. So. Close. He looked at me confused.

"I just wanted some Cheerios." He speaks as if it were obvious. My eyes widen but I quickly hide it. My face goes back to normal.

"Well you're not getting any." I say triumphantly shifting the Cheerios to go opposite side of him so that he couldn't reach them and they lay under my arm. He groaned.

"They're my Cheerios and you're a guest in my apartment." He said really struggling to keep a smile off of his face. He waits a second before reaching over quickly and trying to get the Cheerio box out from under my hip. I pulled away but he still shocked me and had gotten the Cheerio box away from me. I grabbed them back and scooted further away.

"What did you have to ask me?" I say focusing on the Today show.

"Did you see anything about the attacker that you recognized? The way they walked? Voice?" I groaned and hopped out of bed.

"Look if I knew who it was I would've told you guys by now. I know it was a female and that she wasn't expecting me to fight back." I said. I walked around the room aimlessly trying to remember something that wasn't there to remember. She had a smell about her. But I'd never smelt it before. I turned back to Cameron. Who of course was grinning his idiotic grin that did things to me.

"What?" I said folding my arms. I was too tired to deal with his bullshit today. He gestured to my outfit and I looked down. I was still in his boxers. No emotion crossed my face. I wondered why he thought of it. "Do you have any girl clothes here?" I asked sarcastically. He laughed for a second.

"Wait I actually do." He looked uncomfortable. "Well they're Marta's." I tried to protest against him getting them but he got up and walked over to the last drawer pulling out a pair of sweatpants. I went to put them on and froze.

"Cameron when was the last time you visited Marta?" I asked already dialing the hospital's number.

"Uh probably a month ago? I visit her once or twice a month." He said taking out a handful of Cheerios. I walked out of the room to make my call. This would be a long morning.

Ten minutes later I walked back into the room. Cameron was in different clothes and eating Cheerios from a bowl this time. I stood across from him and automatically said, "It's Marta." He looked up at me with a Cheerio sticking to his lip. I used my hand and flicked it off quickly before continuing. "She checked herself out of the hospital last week and went home. The residents in her apartment haven't seen her since yesterday morning." Cameron put his pointer finger up to pause me.

"How did you figure this out?" He asked incredulous.

"It was the smell. It still was on her clothes. It's the same smell of the person who attacked me." I said looking down at the sweatpants that I was still wearing. Cameron's mouth hung open.

"She must've gone back to the lab to get something and attacked you and shot Maggie because she thought that you guys saw her." He said. He believed me but didn't want to.

"Well look she definitely attacked me. We don't know if she shot Maggie yet." I say trying to appease him. This was groundbreaking. Marta. Out and alive. And interested in harming me and the lab work. And Cameron. She wouldn't touch Cameron.
