Shadows of Vengeance

I was going out with Caroline and my chest felt a lot lighter. 

I had told Damon a part of what happened, but I didn't tell him why they did it. That was a secret I hadn't told him for 145 years now. 

Caroline was driving us to I don't even know what city she wanted to suprise me, but I wasn't never like with most suprises. She still didn't know what happened to me but she wanted to get my mind of it. 

 ~Flashbacks~ 

 "Fae... What happened to your eyes? How didn't I notice." Damon asked confused as I was just looking at myself in the mirror holding back tears. 

"Damon" I started with cracks in my voice. "Don't blame yourself for not seeing it , you haven't seen me in 60 years it's not your fault." Tears started rolling down my face as I was trying to tell him. "Damon they uhmm..they injected me with some kind of needle. The stuck in it my eyes, it uhmmm..it hurt like hell." I stopped for a second trying not to burst out crying. "They held a uhmm.. a mirror in front of my face and forced me to watch. The injection they put in my eyes...they uhmmm." I started to cry. He came to me and hugged me while I was crying. I continued in his arms "I saw how my eyes turned brown and they were..they were laughing." I just burst out crying on his chest. 

After a while I calmed down and saw how angry Damon was. 

"What were there names?" He asked with so much hate in his voice. 

"No Damon, No. This is why I didn't want to tell you. You'll go crazy again." I sighed "Stefan told me that when I disapeart you started to act different. He said that you looked everywhere, that you became the part of you that you never wanted to become." He looked at me shocked, he couldn't believe Stefan told me.

"What are there names Fae I need to know." He said completely ignoring what I just said.

 "Damon no, it's not good for you to know." 

He just got angry and looked a bit sad "Fae your my little sister, MY BABY SISTER.... I should've been there. I should've protected you... DAMN IT." 

Now I got it he felt guilty. I just hugged him and wispered the names to him. He looked okay like he wasn't going to go crazy. 

 ~Flashbacks~ 

"Caroline are we there yet I'm getting bored?" She laughed and stopped the car. 

"Well we just arrived so stop being bored and get out the damn car will you." 

I chuckled, and got out of the car, my face just turned to shock I hadn't really been paying attention to where she was driving me but now I saw it. "You drove us all the way to New York?!" 

Caroline smiled "I thought you could use the distraction, this is the big city and the parties with be starting soon. I thought you might be up for something to eat." She gave me a grin and we just went into the first club we saw. I was still early so not many people were there yet but Caroline and I were already planning on who looked the most delicious.

~3rd person~

"Damon why would you have sent Caroline with Fae to New York?" Stefan asked confused when Caroline texted him that. 

Damon was looking through his phone but when he couldn't find what he was looking for he just grabbed Stefan's of the table. "Well brother, she couldn't be here for what I was about to do so I asked Caroline to take her on a girls weekend." 

Stefan still didn't know what was happening and where Fae was all these years. Well he knew that it was called 'Augestine' but he didn't really know what it was. 

"What are you doing with my phone and why can't Fae know what your about to do." Damon finally looked up from Stefan's phone and looked at him. 

"Look Stefan there are certain things that you don't know and I will tell you later, but right now I'm going to kill the bloodline that tortured our sister. And Stefan before you ask I'm looking for Rebekah's phone number they were best friends after all and she'll wanna help."

 Stefan looked shocked but before he could get another word in Damon had found the phone number and vamp-sped out of there. 

~3rd person~

The music was playing loudly and everyone was screaming to hear each other. Caroline and I were just choosing our meal                                                                                                                                   

"Ohh he looks tasty don't you think." I grinned at her she certainly had good taste had to give her that credit. 

"Don't move don't scream." I compelted him but it didn't work which shocked me but it also shocked Caroline. She quickly did in and it worked so he wasn't wearing any vervain. We both put our fangs in one side of his neck and just sucked the blood out of him. We let go just before he was about to collaps. "Forget that you ever saw us." Caroline compelled the guy. 

We just danced some more but there were so many delicious looking people here I just couldn't resist them. "Care, idk what's going on right now with me but she looks delicious would you help. If you want you can even take a bite." We grinned at each other and she compelled the girl. She was utterly delicious that credit I gave her. 

When the whole party had died and everyone went home Care and I stayed a little longer. After a while the bartender said that the bar was closing but Caroline just compelled the guys, I still couldn't. 

~3rd person~

Damon met up with Rebekah at some old cemetery so they weren't overheard or anything. When Rebekah arrived she immediately jumped on Damon so he was on the ground. "You better have a bloody good reason why you called me here." 

Damon stood up and said "Fae..Fae is back." Rebekah immediately got off of Damon and just looked shocked at him. "She has been gone for 60 something years, where the bloody hell has she been?"

Damon sighed and looked at Rebekah who just couldn't believe it. "I am guessing you have heard of 'Augestine' in your 1000 years of life." 

She knew what it was but just vaguely but she nodded anyway. Damon looked away and took a deep breath like he couldn't say it but he had to. "She was there... She was in 'Augestine'." Rebekah looked confused and sad but after just a minute she looked angry but with a grin. 

"You wanna murder the bloodline don't you? I can tell you I'm in." Damon grinned that wasn't his whole plan. "You got a part of the plan right." Rebekah looked a bit confused and Damon continued "Were going to murder both their families but I have decided that were going to make him watch. But first we need to find them, I got names." Rebekah's eyebrow went up as Damon told their names to her, and within the hour mark she knew exactly where they were with a little help from her brothers ofcourse.
