Genaya was trained to be an actual lieutenant. Not only that, she was also trained to use the computers. The lieutenant part of her was trained to her by Comander Thompson. She was trained to use the computers by her dad. Simon changed his name to Citizen Z when all other soliders died a year earlier.

About a year ago, when the apoclyspe killed the presedent, all soliders bolted. They left all their stuff behind.

Simon and Genaya were trying to get a hold of a rescue team, Delta X-Ray, in fact. "Delta X-ray, Delta, this is Simon Cruller, im a Sys Op working for the NSA, Camp Northren Light, if youre there and alive please answer." Simon pleaded. Nothing but static could be herd.

"This is Delta X-Ray." the static fianly garbled into.

Genaya turned the dial a bit so the voice could be more readable. "Great. Okay Delta X-Ray, i have new GPS coordnats for your mission, its the CDC Mass Infection Lab." Simon gave Delta X-Ray.

"Lieutenant, we leave in two!" Genaya snapped her head towards Commander Thompson, now her commander, and nodded.

"These coordinates are in Califorina, are you sure?" The mission leader asked.

"This is what they told me to give to you, the most important thing is to get Dr. Merch there alive, along with any survivers."

"Dad we have to go!" Genaya wisperd to Simon. Simon nodded, waiting for a response from the person.

"Ok Northren Light we're heading out."

"Great! We are as well." He jumped off his chair and grabed his jacket off the back, running towards the exit with Genaya.

As they reached the exit, the aircraft had already taken off. They watched it zoom across the sky for about twenty seconds before it fell and burst into flames. Now its just Simon and Genaya.

Now, one year later, on Genaya's fourteenth birthday, she awoke. She went out to the computers and sat down in the seat her dad uasaly sat in. After putting in the password, she logged on to her Twitter account to update her yearly status, even though no one is on the internet anymore 'This damm apocalypse,' she began, 'It ruins people. Good people. It shut down most of the military, killed neighborhoods, towns, cities, states even. But somehow we survive. We build up small towns of our own. Some of us even have a whole state for our small groups. Things like that give people hope. Heh. Hope- the most dangerous thing to have now. Don't have to much of that here. But I still survived to see my 14th birthday. Keep fighting and you'll see your next birthday. This is Lieutenant Genaya Cruller, signing off.' She sighed.

"Hey, Gen." Her father gave her a heads up before tossing her a box of her favorite poptarts, "Look at what I found."

"No way! Really, where?" She asked, tearing into the box of cinniman poptarts.

"They were right where you said they were when we couldn't find them a month ago." He pointed out. He turned towards the computer her yearly update. "Hmmm.....interesting, not your uasal update."

"What's the point of a regular update anymore?" She clicked the post boutton.

The alumim crinkled under her fingers as she opened the package of poptarts. She hasn't had poptarts in years, they were her favorite breakfast food in the world.

"Come on lets keep Operation Bitemark alive." Simon sighed

Joslin ran down the muddy roads of New York, trying to outrun the Z's that have overrun her last camp. She came across a small blue sided house, and figured it was the best option she had to get away from the Z's and rain.
