Aarav stepped into Priya's warm and inviting apartment, grateful to be out of the storm. The aroma of chai and pakoras filled the air, making his mouth water. He looked around and noticed the soft glow of candles placed strategically around the room, giving it a romantic ambiance.
You've outdone yourself, Priya,
He said, smiling as he took in the cozy setting.
I wanted everything to be perfect
Priya replied, a hint of nervousness in her voice.
I'm glad you made it safely.
Aarav reached out and gently squeezed her hand.
There's no place I'd rather be.
They settled on the couch, each holding a cup of steaming chai. The rain continued to pour outside, the sound of it creating a soothing background to their conversation. Aarav took a sip of his chai and closed his eyes, savoring the warmth and the flavors.
This is amazing, Priya. Just what I needed after that drive.
Priya smiled, pleased with his compliment.
Mujhe laga tum bhookhe bhi hoge, so isiliya maine pakore bhi bana liye
Tum mujhe bahot ache se jaanti ho
Aarav said, reaching for a pakora and taking a bite.
These are perfect. You really know how to make a guy feel special.
Priya laughed, a soft, melodic sound that made Aarav's heart swell.
I'm glad you think so. I just wanted you to be comfortable.
As they enjoyed their chai and pakoras, the conversation flowed effortlessly. They talked about their day, their plans for the weekend, and shared stories from their childhoods. Aarav loved listening to Priya's stories, the way her eyes sparkled with joy when she recounted happy memories.
The storm outside grew fiercer, the wind howling and the thunder rumbling loudly. Priya jumped slightly at a particularly loud clap of thunder, and Aarav reached out to hold her hand.
Hey, it's just a thunderstorm. Nothing to be scared of
He said, his voice gentle.
I know, but it's so loud
She replied, squeezing his hand for comfort.
Aarav looked at her, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Do you want to dance?
In the middle of a thunderstorm?
She asked, raising an eyebrow.
Why not? Let's make the most of it
He said, standing up and offering her his hand.
Priya hesitated for a moment, then smiled and took his hand. Aarav led her to the balcony, where the rain was pouring down heavily. They were instantly soaked, but it didn't matter. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and she rested her head on his chest as they swayed to an imaginary tune.
Tum pure paagal ho, Aarav
She whispered, looking up at him.
Sirf tumhare liye, Meri jaan😉
He replied, leaning down to kiss her forehead.
As they danced in the rain, the thunderstorm raged on, but inside their little world, everything was perfect. The cool rain mingled with their warmth, and the sounds of the storm became a backdrop to their shared laughter and whispers.
Priya
Aarav said, pulling back slightly to look into her eyes.
I've wanted to tell you something for a while now.
Her heart skipped a beat.
What is it?
I love you
He said simply, his eyes full of sincerity.
Tears mixed with the rain on Priya's cheeks as she smiled.
I love you too, Aarav.
In that moment, surrounded by the fury of the storm, they found their calm. The thunder and lightning seemed to applaud their declaration, and the rain washed away any doubts they had. They stood there, holding each other close, knowing that their love was strong enough to weather any storm.
