~ Author's Pov ~
Ishan's phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out, his heart sinking as he read the message.
A single tear rolled down his cheek but fortunately, before anyone could notice he quickly covered his face up with his hand and wiped away the tear.
Now, looking at the message on his screen made him feel miserable again because it contained news of him not being included in the playing XI again for the ODI matches against South Africa, which he earnestly wished to be a part of.
While Ishan was still trying to get himself together, Disha suddenly stopped & looked back.
She somehow sensed that something bad had happened & slowly retraced her steps back to him.
Disha (gently placing her hand on his shoulder): Is everything alright Kishan?
Ishan just simply nodded in no without speaking.
Disha somehow figure out that something was wrong with Ishan, he seemed to be in quite a bad state.
Disha (in a soothing voice): You know sometimes life gets hard, and it feels like you're running in circles. You feel like giving up, but you shouldn't.
Her words were simple, yet they seemed to carry the weight of the world.
Ishan felt warmth spread through his chest as he listened to her. He knew that she was right; he had been feeling that way for far too long.
But he couldn't help but wonder who this mysterious woman was, and how she seemed to understand him so well.
Ishan: Thank you Disha, You have no idea how much that means to me - he said sincerely.
She smiled at him, and it was then that he realized she was even more beautiful than he had first thought.
"You're welcome," she replied. "Just remember, the only person who can change your situation is you. Believe in yourself, and don't let anyone else stand in your way."
With that, she finally turned and walked away, leaving Ishan standing there, with a newfound sense of determination burning brightly inside him.
Ishan while walking along the road, recalled every single thing that had happened that day, until the time he met Disha.
When suddenly Ishan realized that he had walked very far away from his hotel, but he didn't wish to go back just yet.
Luckily for him he was able to spot a park nearby which was only 2-3 minutes walk from the place where he had just reached. So he started walking towards it.
After reaching the park, he sat down on a bench under a tree to think about what he should do next.
After spending some time alone, he finally decided to return to his room.
While he was on his way back, he remembered Disha and felt happy, because she had somehow changed his mood for the good.
But he also wondered if he should tell someone about what had happened but decided against it, since he did not want any unnecessary attention.
Finally after reaching his room, Ishan sat down on his bed to take a rest.
After getting freshened up he ordered food and watched television until he fell asleep.
