Viridi walked through the castle walls. She had nothing better to do. Perhaps she could mess with her elder sister, Veronica... "No, Viridi, we will not be doing that!" She whispered angrily to herself. Don't do it don't do it don't do it don't do it-

Viridi flung open Veronica's door. "Hey!" She cheerful called.

"Get. Out!" Veronica shouted.

"Haha, no. That will not be happening today, I will have you know." She grinned.

"I hate you so much." Veronica growled as Viridi strolled into the room, sitting cross-legged on the floor. Her sister's room was exceptionally tidy. The only thing that wasn't tidy was her desk as she was using it, but rest assured afterwards that thing would be spotless. "You don't even have the decency to knock!"

"Huh. I guess that it true. But, do you have any ideas on what I could do?" Viridi asked.

"Oh, let me think." Veronica sarcastically said with a massive eye roll. "You could perhaps GET OUT?!"

"Oh, but where's the fun in that?" Viridi pouted. "Come now, how about we both do something together? Like sisters should."

"If you wish to play silly games, go find Victoria." Veronica scoffed.

"No, no, no." Viridi tutted. "I never said games, did I?"

"Ugh..." Veronica grumbled.

"So then? It'll be a surprise!" Viridi grinned. "You could do to loosen up as well. And the surprise would be for both of us."

"You don't even have a plan, do you?" Veronica sighed. "What could you possibly want to do with me?"

"Ay, I dunno." Viridi sighed. "All I know is that me mate ain't gonna be bloody able to hang out with me. Y'know?"

"You accent, dear." Veronica sighed.

"Oh crud. Welp, yer just gonna have to wait for it to wear off."

"Oh no. Then I ain't going out with you!" Veronica sighed angrily. "You need to learn how to control it!"

"Again. Where's the fun in that?" She chuckled. "I tried before, yer know. And I can't do nothin' bout it. Are yer coming or what?" Veronica sighed again. "You've gotta get used to it, yer know."

"I know, I know." Veronica groaned. "Fine! Whatever."

"Nice." Viridi nodded. "Let's go then."

Lynn watched with mild interest as Viridi was attempting to sew again. "Have I mentioned you cuss like a drunk sailor, Viridi?" She chuckled and Viridi cursed under her breath again as she pricked herself on the needle.

"Yes, you have." Viridi groaned. "The last time I did this."

"Maybe put it down?" Lynn suggested.

"No. It was always done for me back in Seioe. I want to be able to do it myself." Viridi opposed. Lynn leaned on the doorframe, a grin on her face. This girl definitely didn't act like a princess, even though technically she was. Viridi had come to live with Lynn's family after the... Incidents, from when they had gotten back to their world about two months ago.

"You really are a wonder, you know that?" Lynn chuckled.

"Really?" Viridi said. "Gah!" She pricked herself again. "Oh bloody hell, the heck? How do yers do it with no bloody injury?!"

"Is this that accent change you've told me about?" Lynn asked, caught completely off guard by the sudden change in tone and accent.

"Yeh. Yer should get used to it, yer know." Viridi was still attempting to sew up the rip in her cardigan. "It comes 'nd goes. Happened once or twice when we were out in the other worlds, remember?"

"Mhm. You scared Jamie with it." Lynn remembered.

"Us elves have the accent from our ancestors. The royalty is supposed to learn to control their accents, but me? Tried, failed, not botherin' again." Viridi explained. "Me elder sis found it really annoying. Probably still will if I see her again."

"Perhaps I could meet your family properly one day." Lynn thought aloud. "You know, without your crazed brother trying to... Wait, what was he even trying to do?" She thought for a moment.

"Dunno." Viridi sighed.

"Anyways." Lynn said.

"Anyways." Viridi chuckled.

"Oh my god, are we just going to do that every time?" Lynn laughed.

"Obviously." Viridi snorted. "Who do you think we are? We are not adults. Even when we are adults, we'll probably act the same."

"My word, you've switched back again." Lynn noticed.

"Oh, I have." Viridi said with mild interest. "I must have some form of disorder, I swear..."

"Ah, nah, probably just your genes." Lynn shrugged. "Just you were the only one to inherit it."

"Maybe." Viridi sighed. "Maybe..." She went back to focusing on sewing up the tear. Lynn felt like slapping her forehead. This girl was so stubborn... "Gah! This stupid needle!" Viridi was so close to throwing the needle across the room.

"Girls? Is everything alright?" Lynn's mother walked in.

"Viridi is failing to sew." Lynn sighed.

"Perhaps put it away for now. Tea is nearly done, actually." She pointed out, then left them.

"You heard my mom. Come on, let's go." Lynn said to Viridi. Viridi remained silent. "Viridi?"

"Ah, coming. I was just thinking of my own ma." Viridi placed the needle down and followed Lynn out of the room. As they were about to sit down, a knock came at the door.

"I'll get it." Lynn said. She picked up her notebook and clutched it tight as she opened the door a crack. Her book dropped to the floor.

"Lynn?" Viridi called. "The hell? You alright?" She walked over to where Lynn was stood.

"I swear, Viridi, you and your bloody accent changes are enough to distract me..." Lynn sighed.

"Eh?"
