Cleo
To everyone in my pack, I was worthless wolf. They thought I wouldn't have a mate either. I was a late bloomer to get my wolf, and she was the most beautiful shade of light brown, just like my almost chestnut hair. No one knows about my shift except for my parents, who are the head of the warriors, and my dad is the third in command for the alpha, and his son is a douche.
The current Alpha, Alejandro, is the most understanding Alpha I've ever known. He has to keep an open mind around everyone. His son, Boris, is the opposite of him. Boris is your typical teenage boy who thinks he can have every girl in the school. He bullies me the most since he thinks I'm wolfless. Boy, is he wrong, i had said to myself. If only they had known I had a wolf, I would be respected in this borish pack. Training was the only thing that kept my head mindless.
I had heard someone walking up as I looked to see it was Alpha Alejandro. I bowed my head in respect. "It's good to see you, Cleo." Alpha Alejandro had smiled as I nod back. "Hello Alpha Alejandro, and it's a pleasure to see you as well. What can I do for you?" I was actually curious why he would come out here without Luna Lily.
Alpha Alejandro sighed. "There is going to be another pack joining the party tonight. The Moon Grove pack will be here in a couple of hours." He looks at him in a concerned way as I look down. "And you want me to stay away so nobody suspects that I'm a wolf?" I asked, looking at him as he nods."I can stay here at the training ground for a while it'll help keep my mind clear for the party. But isn't that the pack where Alp -" he cuts me off with a glare.
"Remember we don't speak that name here in public, Cleo." He said as I mumbled sorry Alpha as I knew he would hear me regardless. "Of course, sir. But why am I to stay away?" I had asked as he walked up to stand beside me."He's looking for a mate. You know how they are. They don't take mates it's rare for them since they are superior to us on everything, but we have a deal with them. " he went on as I listened to him. As I looked at the ground , I noticed Alpha Alejandro had tensed, "He's an hour early. I'll see you later, Cleo." He walked off as I nodded, going back to my training. It sucked since my parents, Chris and Stella, would be there as well. But what can you do when the alpha of all alphas are going to be here.
But I had froze mid punch to the punching bag when I noticed he'd stepped out of the large Tahoe. I had looked over to see his bright Grey eyes, and it felt like I had known him whole life, but I had to look away and make sure I wasn't known here.Alonzo
We were heading to the Sunrise pack for Alpha Alejandros son to be alpha. His son doesn't know how to alpha, and from what I've heard, the son isn't that great to some of his pack members. I knew we were ahead of schedule, which is why we were an hour early from everyone else. I saw Alpha Alejandro talking to a girl to be at least in her early twenties, but she looked cute in a hot way. She looked like a warrior due to her stance and her build. I had guessed the alpha noticed our suvs making his way to us. When i had gotten out of the Tahoe, her scent hit me like a brick to my face. I had looked to the girl that stayed behind at what I assume was the training area. Her eyes were the softest of hazel green, and I noticed she had looked away and walked away. "There she is. Our little pup, " the lycan in me had woken up from his slumber as i chuckled mentally. Alpha Alejandro smiles. "It's good to have you here, Alpha Alonzo. But I didn't expect you to be here so soon." He was nervous, but this pack I visited a lot. "We were ahead of schedule and we came early but why don't we chat before the party begins" I had nodded at him as he led the way to the house and to his office where we had talked over some whiskey. It was hard for us to get drunk, but I did like the taste of some good Scottish whiskey.
"Can you tell me about the girl you were talking to outside?" I had asked. He looked at me in slight shock. "Who, Cleo? She's some wolfless girl who is the best warrior I have. Her dad, Chris, is the third in command of the pack and takes over the warriors for me. His daughter is next to become the third in command when, Boris, takes over tonight" I nod listening as he kept going "but I told her to stay away so she wouldn't be harassed for being that way." He smiled, grimacing a bit as I knew he was up to something. This girl Cleo wasn't wolfless at all. I knew she had a wolf, but if he's keeping her secret so the pack doesn't know, then he earned a star on my book. Usually, if a she wolf is late shifting, they are usually not welcomed in most packs and knocked down to being an omega. She wasn't weak as if the power she was giving off showed me there was more to her than what they could give her. "Well, I'll show you to our rooms till the party and if you wanted to clean up." Alpha Alejandro took me and a few members of mine to our rooms.
