Chapter Six

Cleo

It was peaceful after mating Alonzo, my heat had gone down and my wolf was certainly happy as well. I was laying on the couch watching a movie as Theo came in looking at me smiling "the girls were just looking for you." I sat up stretching and looks at him "hmm what for? i have been in here since i woke up." Theo chuckles sitting beside me and leans back "well they just woke up and have been wanting to see you since now you two are now mated and that you can get your gown for the ball that's coming up." I look at the wall and sighs a bit " Would it usually be Alonzo going with me to get a dress?" he nods a bit. But i knew the girls would help me and Alonzo would be busy with his duties before the ball starts. "I will go get dressed and meet them so let them know for me okay?" I say getting up as he went to Leo and the girls. I was walking to the bedroom as I felt someone was watching as i looked around and found no one. Whoever they were they are hiding well and don't want to be seen at all. I quickly speed my pace up to the bedroom and when i opened the door i quickly shut the door. Alonzo walks out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist which meant he just got out of the shower. He looked at me a bit confused tilting his head "Is everything okay, my love?" I shake my head going to him and hugging him as I didn't care if he was still soaking wet or not. "It felt like someone was watching me as i came up here to get ready to go out with the girls to get a dress for the ball." He walked up to me wrapping his arms around my waist " I'm sure it was someone being curious about you. the pack is curious on who their new Luna is." I just nod relaxing against him "and I'm still new here so it will take time to get use to things." He nods kissing my shoulder slapping me on my ass and i playfully squatted his arm then got dressed "Well i have to get going before Leo or Theo come up here." I kiss him as he pulled me close as i giggled "Ok handsome i have to go find a gown." He pouts nodding as he let go of me as i went to the others as they talked amongst themselves. But, i overheard someone nearby saying "why can't she just leave already, Alonzo deserves someone better than a old warrior whore." Leo snarls at the other group walking up to them "Don't you dare speak about your Luna that way, Lucy. you are the packs whore anyways and leave the pack house its not your place to wonder around." I stood there as Amelia walked up to him "Leo baby, come along now we have a Luna to tend to remember." She smiled at me as i walked up to them "Leo, she is not worth your time. I'm sure Alonzo will deal with her." With that i walked out the door as Theo and Zara lead me to a large SUV and we all got in. Leo and Theo sat in the front seats as me, Amelia, and Zara sat the back talking amongst ourselves. 

I was happy to have new friends who didn't judge me for who i was and what my previous title was from my old life. As we got to the store, we headed inside as i looked around as i found a beautiful lavender dress. The material was so soft and very detailed as Zara walked up "the dress is beautiful and suits you." I looked at her "really? i guess i always liked the color and its so calming to." She nods grabbing it and looked at the size grinning "Ahh its your size and don't worry Alonzo would be paying for it and i guess we already had out dresses already adjusted and just have to pay for yours." I looked at her with my mouth hanging wide open as she laughs "close that mouth before you get dusty." I laugh at her joke and before to long one of the guys used one of Alonzo's cards to pay for the dress. I was happy and he would be so stunned to see me in the dress when the ball happens. But, when we left the store we headed to pick up some food on the way home as I looked out the window getting lost in thought and fell asleep without realizing it. When i felt the car stop i felt someone touch me before a growl slightly woke me as i heard him say "don't touch her, i will carry her up and make sure that sees Lucy out of the pack grounds." I felt his strong arms carrying me into the house and soon the bed as i fell into a deep sleep. 

After a few days, the ball was here and i was a bit nervous. I was pacing around my room as Amelia walked in looking at me. "What is going through that mind of yours?" She had asked me while sitting on a chair leaning back. I had looked at her tearing up "What if they don't like me or not cut out for being Luna." I was having a full blown panic attack and i could not calm down, plus Alonzo couldn't be up here to walk with me. Amelia gets up walking to me as she held my hands "Cle, you will be loved and you will be fine. Now lets get going before those two break down these doors." I had laughed nodding walking out of the door beside her arm in arm as we had talked amongst ourselves. When we were getting close to the main hall where everyone else was at I could feel him nearby. Once we had walked through the doors Leo was on Amelia in an instant, i knew she didn't want to leave my side just yet. I had looked around for Alonzo frowning then looks at Leo "do you know where he is?" once i had asked he looked away hiding something from me. Amelia elbowed him in the side "Are you ignoring her Leo? if you are you'll be sleeping in the woods tonight" He gaps at her then sighs "He had some business deals to do before coming down." I frowned looking down tearing up again "its suppose to be my introduction ball and looks like ill be stuck with you two." I couldn't hold the emotion back in my throat wiping my cheeks. Amelia looked like she was about to say something but was cut off by someone as i felt his hand snake around my throat as i bit my lip. Alonzo bent down to my ear as i noticed Amelia and Leo had left to gods know where now as he whispers "oh pup, you will be punished for that later." I whimper softly but of course he had heard it grinning "But my Luna looks beautiful in lavender and the dress suits you. I have full access to look at you any time." He walked around to look at me as i looked up at him blushing " Well I did want to look beautiful for you, sir. But i do say so myself that you look more stunning yourself tonight." He bent down to kiss me gently and tenderly and i do love his kisses, they always made me feel loved. 

He held out his arm for me as i took it walking around while he introduced me to other Alpha's and Luna's. Everyone here was absolutely stunning and i was looking at myself thinking how could a warrior like me get a Lycan Alpha as my mate. I was standing to the side waiting for Alonzo to come back with drinks as i noticed an unmated Alpha walked up drunk. "Hey beautiful why don't you come to my room tonight for a fun night?" he asked as i ignored him and i felt his hand on my lower back. I was about to grab his arm and to tell him off but before i could do so Alonzo had him on the ground growling "Don't you ever touch her again and she's marked and taken." I grabbed his arm as he gets up as Theo dragged the Alpha outside as i looked up at Alonzo " My love, please calm down." I had cupped his cheek as he relaxed instantly as i smile wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me close. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. But i forgot how handsy some unmated alphas were." I laughed a bit resting my hands on his chest as he looked at me with lust and contentment. "Let's go dance before you do something here in front our guests." I lead him to the dance floor as he chuckles "with you I'll take you anywhere i want, pup." We had started to dance to the songs and i kissed his cheek gently before laying my head on his chest.
