POV-Mr Park ( Xhelsy's father)

Me: so you're telling me that a billion dollars can be in my hands if my daughter becomes your maid?
Larosa: Maybe even more than that.
Me: but I can only hand her over to you when she's 18.
Larosa: Fine by me but when I come back for her, you will hand her over without any problems or else I will start a war.
Me: I will hand her over, don't worry.
Larosa: pleasure doing business with you Park.

He said that as he signed the check and handed it to me, he walked out of my office and that was it. I was going to be one of the richest business man, all because I promised to give away my  daughter in the next 8 or 7 years to come. I bet by then he would have forgotten all this..............

Xhelsy: You sold me?( Looking at me with her glossy eyes)
Me: I will not talk about all this.( Trying to sound cold)
Xhelsy: Father, I still have school to finish and I also wish to go to university, I will not be getting married.
Me: Can't you just be grateful that you have been living your life as you wish Xhelsy?. You are getting married and that's final.
My wife: But her education is on the line.
Me: she will finish school in the marriage.

I get up and walk out of the dinning room because this is also a lot for me. I just want to be alone.

POV- Xhelsy

My father has just marked himself onto the worst father's in the world. I always read books and the fathers of most of the girls sell them or marry them off to strangers but they end up falling in love with each other but I don't think that's going to happen this time. I walk out of the dinning room and followed my father. I needed answers. I get to his office and knock then I get in.

Me: why would you do that?
Father: it was going to happen sooner or later.
Me: I don't even know him or love him father.
Father: Love is not the goal Xhelsy, you will become his wife and that's it. Now get out of my office.

I walk out of his office and went to my room.

The next day.....

I opened my eyes and looked around my room for a while before I decided to get up and get ready for the day. I wasn't going to school today because I don't need it anymore. What kind of a girl shows up to school married?, not me so I won't be going to school anymore. I will study online. I got dressed, took my phone and went downstairs to have breakfast. I got my food and as soon as I set down, a call from Amelia comes through and I started to chit chat with her.

On the call......

Amelia: my father said that you are getting married to a very rich guy (sounding excited)
Me: yeah
Amelia: is he good looking, have you ever seen him?
Me: yes I have and I don't want to talk about this, exams are coming up.
Amelia: Yeah, you better study hard and make Jagger happy.
Me: what ?
Amelia: he would love to see you graduate, so do it for him too.
Me: you also have to graduate.
Amelia: You know that I'm not good with books.
Me: that's why we have to read!!
Amelia: okay, so you aren't coming back to school?
Me: yeah, I might change my mind.

We ended the call and she sent me the number. And I called the Boss. It didn't go through so I sent a message. I hope he sees it soon.
