Branch woke up in the middle of the night after he heard the front door open due to having sensitive hearing ever since he was a kid and when he turned on the light he saw his older brother Clay who was staying with them since his dorm room was infested with termites and he saw Clay kissing a girl who looked very similar to Poppy but several years older and had blonde hair

Clay: what the Branch what are you doing here 

Branch: Clay who's this 

Girl: Branch please calm down 

Branch: what's going on 

Clay: look Branch if I tell you this you must promise not to tell anyone about this because I don't our brothers to make fun of me 

Branch: sure 

Clay: look Branch this is Viva and she's my girlfriend

Clay: about a couple years
