Older Meilin: Girls, come downstairs, it's time for a story.
Mimi and Aqua: A story? 😃
Mimi: I love stories.
Aqua: Me too.
*they go get Maya and Sarah and head downstairs to see their mother*
Older Meilin: Come sit on the couch girls.
Older Meilin and her daughters: *sits down on the couch (Maya and Sarah sit on Mimi's and Aqua's lap)*
Older Meilin: Now, have I told you girls a story of when I first got my red panda?
Mimi and Aqua: No.
Older Meilin: Well, it all started way back in 2002, when I was still young, before you were born.
*flashback begins*

Meilin: *narrating* The number one rule in my family, honor your parents. They're the supreme beings who gave you life who sweated and sacrificed so much to put a roof over your head, food on your plate, an epic amount of food. The least you can do in return is every single thing they asked. 'Course some people are like "Be Careful". Honoring your parents sounds great, but if you take it to far, well...you might forget to honor yourself.......😏😃Luckily, I don't have a problem.
*walking through town on the sidewalk * I'm Meilin Lee. And ever since I turned 13, I've been doing my own thing. Making my own moves, 24/7/365. I wear what I want, say what I want and I will not hesitate to do a spontaneous cartwheel if I feel so moved. *tries......and fails* Oh, crap!
Everyone: *looks at her* 😐?
Meilin: 😬 *grabs her things *. 🚎 Not to brag, but being 13 means I'm officially a grown-up...at least according to the Toronto, Canada Transit Commission *shows the transit *

Meilin: *zips open her backpack and gets her homework out and doing it * I'm about the hustle, am I right?

Priya: *reads a book then sees her* Yo.
Meilin: Abby!
Abby: *points to the paper while angry speaking indo*

The 4 friends: *crawling and whispering * ... *looks at the person in the store through the window *.
