3rd pov

Days went by as Sasuke grew more extroverted and smiley towards others. He would go out with friends and study at school. He even made friends with Shikamaru, who was skeptical at first.

"Wow, Sasuke, for the past week, you've been nothing but sun shines and bunnies. Did you get a girlfriend or something?" Kiba laughed while Sasuke looked at him confused. "Is it wrong for me to be so cheery? I just grew to love American culture. At first, I thought this would be a complete waste of time, but so far... I think I would love to move down here someday. I really do like this place." Sasuke smiled, making the girls shout with glee.

"So that means you're open to a relationship with an American?" Ino smiled as she leaned in.

"Definitely not you." Kiba laughed while the girl scolded him. As soon as Sasuke was done with his assignment, he closed his laptop and started packing up. "Hey, where are you going?" Choji asked. "I'm going home." Sasuke waved at them before standing up.

"You just love your man candy." Neji rolled his eyes as he teased Sasuke as he was walking away. Sasuke then looked back and smirked, speaking his first language. "You know it~"

Time skip

"I'm home." Sasuke walked in and placed his things in his room. "Welcome back." Naruto said as he was typing on his computer. Sasuke smiled as he hugged Naruto from the back, looking over his shoulder to see what he was doing. "That doesn't look like homework." Sasuke pointed. "Nah, I am booking us a trip to Canada for the long weekend." Naruto smiled. Sasuke flinched as he looked at Naruto. "Really? why?" Sasuke felt touched by this sudden gift.

"My grandparents live down there, and they have a beautiful cabin in the forest. Watch, Canadian mountains are so beautiful, you'll love it, plus since our break is two weeks, we will get two weeks of fun!" Naruto smiled. Sasuke looked at the trip fees and shook his head. He then closed the window Naruto was on and searched up the rental. "Okay... what are you doing?" Naruto laughed as he let Sasuke type.

"Instead of flying, why don't we do a road trip? Since Canada is basically next door and we have two weeks to be there. Not to mention that we could bond more and get to know each other." Sasuke kissed Naruto's neck, making him jolt.

"Hah! y-yeah, I guess that's true. So you're getting a rental car?" Naruto smiled while Sasuke nodded as he showed Naruto a really nice-looking vehicle. As Sasuke was showing Naruto nice cars, Naruto spotted a vehicle he liked.

"Why not this minivan! It looks cute!" Naruto clicked on it. "But a car is better on gas, plus won't it just be us two?" Sasuke asked.

"Well..."

And so...

"WOOHOO! ROAD TRIP! I CALL SHOTGUN!" Kiba ran towards the van, ready to jump into the fancy minivan. Immediately, Kiba was pulled back from Shino.

"I think that's Naruto's decision for the seating plan." Shino stated while Kiba blushed.

"Thanks, Shino! Okay, so there are seven seats and nine of us, Sakura and Ino said that they don't want to be in a van full of guys, so they will travel with the luggage in Ino's car. Since Shikamaru has been over to my grandparents' house thousands of times, He and I will be driving so him and I are in the two front seats!" Naruto smiled. Sasuke jolted as he walked up to Naruto and pulled him aside. "I thought it was supposed to be just the two of us... let alone sit next to each other..." Sasuke stated. Naruto nervously laughed as he patted Sasuke on the head. "It's an eight hour drive, Sasuke. I won't be able to drive all the way! It would be much easier if me and Shikamaru I had easy access to switch to the driver seat." Naruto explained. Sasuke looked at the van before walking towards them.

"Naruto and I will sit in the front, and Shikamaru gets one of the individual seats in the middle." Sasuke said before getting in the passenger seat. Everyone looked at Naruto for answers but was given an awkward smile from the blonde.

"Okay..."

"I call the other individual seat!"

Road trip

Three hours have passed as they have parted to the great mountains, Shikamaru observed as Sasuke did nothing but listen to Naruto and his crazy stories.

"Aw man, how the hell did I end up in the back seat... I am not even close to Shino." Kiba mumbled while Neji rolled his eyes. "I don't understand why I was seated by you." Neji sighed.

"Heh, maybe the seating plan wasn't so smart after all... Don't worry, once we get there, I promise you will enjoy it!"

"...This is going to be a long trip... isn't it.."

AND SO

"WOAH! LOOK AT THOSE MOUNTAINS!"

"Eh, I've seen better."

"Not bad at all, actually."

"I am so glad we arrived..."

All boys were thrilled to see that their destination was finally in their reach. Naruto smiled as he looked at Sasuke with smiling eyes, making the raven's heart skip a beat.

"Why must you tease me..."

And So

"WHY ISN'T THAT OUR GRANDBABY! C'MERE BOY!" Naruto's grandfather Jiraya grabbed onto him and gave him a tight hug. Naruto laughed as he tried to push his grandfather off. "It's good to see you, Grandpa! Where is Grandma?" Naruto asked the huge man. Jiraya perked his head up and pointed over by the lakeside to see that Grandma was planting flowers by their deck. Naruto's grandmother, Tsunade, looked up and smiled with excitement to see that her grandson had finally arrived. "Naruto!" Tsunade cheered has she ran up to the boys. Not long after, Sakura and Ino arrived with the luggage. Once everyone arrived, they all gathered in front of the cabin.

"My my, since when did Naruto have so many friends! Even fellow exchange students from Japan! How lucky! Maybe you could teach my ignorant son some Japanese!" Jiraya winked as he spoke Japanese to the students. Sasuke chuckled as he, Shino, and Neji bowed. "Thanks for having us. Nice to meet you, Jiraiya-san."

"Ah, no need to be formal with us! You are all welcomed here anytime! Just call us Grandma and Grandpa!" Tsunade smiled as she blushed from the formality.

"Well, let's settle in and rest for the day! Tomorrow we will go hiking! Grandpa knows the best mountain sites! We will have to share rooms though... SO I MADE A LIST!" Naruto smiled as he pulled out yet another list. Sasuke choked as he wanted to make sure that he was roomed with Naruto. Everyone scrambled towards Naruto, wanting to see who they were roomed with. Sasuke looked down the list to see that he was roomed with Neji and Shino. Sasuke glared at Naruto, who was proud of the list.

"Well played Naruto..."
