One Direction: The Next Chapter

The Big Appointment.

Felicity's P.O.V.
It's finally the big appointment where hopefully I know how many children I am having. I could be having 1 child or 3 children.

I knew that I had to wake Niall up soon, I went downstairs to start to make breakfast and tea for both of us. I loved my tea, if I don't have my tea I go into withdrawal I get sad and sometimes grumpy and I don't want to be grumpy towards Niall.

"Good morning Princess."
I loved it when Niall called me his princess. I felt like a princess when I was around Niall no matter what. "Good morning." I loved Niall so much. He was my best friend and husband wrapped up in one great present. He's the present that just keeps giving.

"Are you ready for your appointment today love?" I honestly was a little nervous but excited all at the same time. "I'm excited for today." I could tell that he knew I was hiding something, he always did. "Love? Are you nervous about today?" "Only a little. I'm more excited then nervous about it."

My appointment was at 1:30 when we got the hospital. I went to see the nurse. "Hi, I'm here to see Dr. Deason."
The nurse looked at me like I had 5 heads for some reason.

"Dr. Deason, isn't in right now my dear." The nurse told me. Are you serious how could he not be here for my ultrasound. "Where is he?" Niall quickly said before I could say something. The nurse spoke up, "He is with his wife and son today for a family vacation."
"But my ultrasound was suppose to be today."
"Did you not get a call?"
Niall looked just as surprised as I did.
"We were suppose to get a call?"
"Someone was suppose to call you saying that Dr. Deason wouldn't be in today."
Omg what am I going to do.
"Will he be back tomorrow?"
"Yes dear, he will be back from vacation tomorrow. If he is not back by tomorrow, I will call him personally saying that you never got a call and you need to get an ultrasound."

We left the hospital and we went home.
"Princess can we have a nap, it's kind of been a long day."
"Yeah, go ahead. I'll be right up."
Niall went upstairs to go to bed. I stayed downstairs to make a tea.

I finally finished my tea about 10 minutes later. I went upstairs and I saw Niall wasn't there. "Niall?" Where could he be, he said that he was tired. "Niall?" Then I heard his voice it sounded like he was on the phone. I walked up to the door and I heard some of the conversation.
"She will never know what I'm doing."
What is he talking about? Who is he talking to? I listened for a little bit longer. "Felicity cant know that I'm talking to you. Nor can you tell her."
What is going on right now. I backed up and yelled one more time. "Niall, where are you?" "I have to go, please don't tell her I was talking to you. Let me talk to her about it first please? I don't want her to freak out." With that he hung up the phone.

I jumped into bed and then Niall came out of the bathroom. "How come you stayed downstairs love?"
"Oh, I wanted to make a tea. I figured that you would already be asleep or else I would have made you one."
"That's okay princess. I don't really want a tea right now."
"I'm going to have a nap now."
"Okay goodnight love." With that we fell asleep. I still wanted to know who he was talking to.

When we woke up I saw that we had a longer nap than we both expected.
"Niall it's like 5:00 in the morning."
"We slept for a really long time."
"Yeah, we did."
I got up and made a tea for Niall and I.
"Do you want anything to eat?"
"I would love an egg Mcmuffin, if you don't mind making me one? I have to go shower quickly."
"Sure. of course I'll make you one while you shower."
"Thanks love."
Niall jumped into the shower. When I heard the shower turn off, I pushed the English muffin down in the toaster and put the egg in the microwave.

When he got into our kitchen he had a smile on his face. "What are you smiling about?"
"I was thinking about something while I was in the shower."
"What were you thinking about?"
"I was thinking about how lucky I am to have a girl like you. How lucky I am that you are with me."
"Awe, Niall I love you so much."
"I was also thinking about something else." Niall winked at me. I started to smile. I wouldn't say that I was embarrassed by what Niall said.
"Oh. I know what you're thinking." I winked back at him.

We were interrupted by a phone call.
I answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi, this is the hospital calling about the ultrasound." I whispered to Niall it's the hospital.
"Is Mrs. Horan there?" I loved the sound of that to this day?
"This is she."
"Dr. Deason is here and is willing to fit you in at 8:30." Thankfully by now it was only 6:00, so I still had time to shower and put on my makeup.
"We will be there at 9:00, thank you very much."
"Have a good day Mrs. Horan."

By the time I got out of the shower, dried my hair and put on my makeup it's was 7:30.
"Niall, are you almost ready?"
"Yes love, almost ready."
Sometimes he took so long to get ready but then other days he was so quick that he made me look like a slow poke. When Niall was finally finished getting ready we left to go to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital I walked up to nurses desk again.
"Hi I'm-"
"Here to see Dr. Deason. The nurse interrupted me. I was like predictable.
"Hi, Mrs. Horan." There he was, one of my best friends from my school days.
"Hi Cadence."

"I'm so sorry that I couldn't be here yesterday I was with the wife and son. I figured that someone would have called you." I believed that he was sorry about yesterday, but I just wanted to get to the ultrasound. "Cadence, can we please get to the ultrasound? I'm really excited!"
"Sure."

When Cadence put the gel on my stomach it was really cold. Niall was holding my hand the whole time. He was so cute.
"So? How many babies are we having?" Niall was so curious. We both really wanted to know.
"Well, you two are having twins."
Omg I am carrying two babies in my stomach right now.
"Would you like to know the sex?"
Niall quickly answered, "No, we would like to be surprised the day of the birth."

When we left the hospital Cadence and Niall were talking. They never talked to each other. Niall wasn't Cadence's biggest fan. I walked over and all of a sudden the stopped talking. "What are you guys talking about?" I had to ask. It was weird that they were talking. "Oh, I was just asking Cadence for a picture if the ultrasound. I want to show all our friends."

We were on our way home and I was so excited. It was about noon now the ultrasound took forever. "Don't our babies look beautiful Niall?"
"Of course they are love. They're going to be wonderful too. They will get that from their mother."
When we got home I thought that I saw the lights on, but all of a sudden they turned off. "Niall is there someone in the house? I swear I saw the lights turn off."
"No, there can't be anyone in the house sweetheart."

Just as Niall went to unlock the door I heard something. "Niall, I heard something in the house."
"I didn't hear anything."
Niall unlocked the door and there it was. The biggest shock of all.
